Yunshang Tea Garden (Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Yuanjiajie Tea Factory)

Really nice place, quite and beautiful. Suggestions of Alex were extremely useful to avoid the crowd and discover hidden paths.

Alex was very helpful and provided detailed instructions on touring the area and transport. We would have been lost without him! The location is convenient for visiting the Zhangjiajie Park itself but not so much if you are intending on visiting the other parks eg the Grand Canyon and Tianmen Mountain as it takes 2 hours by car to get to each place one way and you have to get back by 5pm before the park closes entry. We ended up staying only one night although we'd booked for 2 nights as we wanted to visit the other parks too. Still, due to its location, whilst we were there, we managed to avoid the crowds who were always heading in the opposite direction from us. :-) One thing we were disappointed about was on Trip, we'd booked a mountain view room and our window faced a building block. Apparently, there are no mountain facing rooms at all so this info needs to be amended.

We had a great experience at the Yunshang tea garden! Alex was super helpful and adviced us on the best routes in the park. Since it is the only hotel in the park, you get the chance to explore Zhangjiajie in opposite directions as the tour groups, making it easy to avoid big crowds. The room was nice and clean, sometimes the bathroom was a bit smelly though. There is a restaurant where you can get breakfast (only noodle soup) and very nice dinner. We would definitely recommend!!

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Zhangjiajie national park. Recommended to those who want to fully experience its natural wonders. The staff speaks english and provides useful tips to plan your tour of the park.

在景區內山上住宿就是悠閑，別人排隊上山，咱能輕鬆遊玩。另外，老外特別多。

Located inside 张家界森林公园, makes it very convenient to see sunrise & sunset. Sunset viewing is free, a short walk from the hostel. small fee chargeable for sunrise because the free bus service only starts at about 7:30am. Whole sky is filled with stars in the night. Can be seen with naked eyes, no need good camera 🤭 all the dishes for dinner were delicious and at affordable prices! Catch chicken & ducks running around if you are lucky.. only issue is the smell from toilet but I believe is because it is in the mountains..
