Amazing what looks like a small hotel...but is not...big pool, sauna, all the perks...Great friendly staff...and of course a great view of Matterhorn..very good place to stay in Zermatt

釆馬特的酒店太多了！但這家酒店的女主人非常有“親和力”會和員工們一起照顧着遊客！我們退房後她會主動和我們説再見！讓我覺得“賓至如歸”的氛圍！房間設施齊全，打掃的很乾凈！早餐新鮮！快樂輕鬆的入住體驗！

Wir waren eingeschneit, ohne Strom. Trotzdem wurde der Betrieb fast uneingeschränkt aufrecht erhalten. Warmes Wasser und warmes Essen waren trotzdem gewährleistet. Ein grosses Kompliment an die ganze Belegschaft. Keine Hektik, immer mit einem Lächeln und grossem Einsatz für die Anliegen der Kunden da. Zimmer zweckmässig und sauber. Grosses, feines Frühstückbuffet. Mein Chateaubriand wurde auf den Punkt so serviert, wie ich es bestellt hatte. Fazit: komme gerne wieder.

Die Zimmer, besonders diejenigen mit Blick auf das Matterhorn sind einmalig. Die Küche, das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen und alles ist sehr gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Hotel Christiania Mountain & Spa kann ich nur empfehlen.

The hotel has a very bright and friendly feeling to it. I never give full marks for anything but make an exception for this hotel. The staff are all friendly, ultra efficient and helpful. Good food, I booked half board and all breakfasts and dinners for the 5 days were exceptional with good service. The single bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The pool area lovely. Could not fault this hotel and will definitely be back.

Sehr freundliche und hilsbereite Besitzer und aufgestelltes Personal. Ausgezeichnete Kueche und sehr gut ausgeruesteter und sehr sauberer Spa-Bereich inkl. sehr grossem Schwimmbecken. Toplage (150 m neben Bahn), Super Adresse mit Blick aufs Matterhorn!

Just wonderful. Everything was perfect - the beds, the ski room, the breakfast and the service, which included a hotel WhatsApp with instant replies. My shirt was taken away and ironed compliments of the hotel in about 15mins and an ice pack was brought to my daughter's room every time we asked for it - which was pretty much every night! Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of the lady who helped us all the time but she was amazing, and all the staff were so happy and helpful. We will definitely be coming back and this will be our first choice for Zermatt from now on.

Excellent location close to town centre with wonderful matterhorn views. Food was of a high standard although chef could have been more proactive regarding my wife's dietary requirements ( gluten, dairy free and no meat). Large , comfortable bedroom with seating area and balcony with stunning matterhorn views. Bathroom bit small. Staff constantly attentative and quick to resolve few minor issues we had.

An excellent experience. We have been staying at Christiania for 10 years now, needless to say that we like it very much! The staff is very friendly, the location is extraordinary, and the full package of services is unique. A special word for the Spa, which we consider of top quality!

Das Hotel bietet ein sehr vielseitiges Frühstücksbuffet, fast alles wird angeboten. Die freundlichen Mitarbeiter sind sehr bemüht, den Gästen den Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu machen, die Gastgeber sind praktisch überall anzutreffen. Die Bar ist ein sehr gemütlicher Ort und unsere kleine Suite war stets sauber. Auf Anfrage erhielten wir auch den Wasserkocher zusätzlich zur Kaffeemaschine, wo stets genügend Kaffeekapseln vorhanden waren. Auch kann man zusätzliche Kissen ausprobieren und zusätzliche Decken bekommen. Der Wellnessbereich wird als der grösste in Zermatt angepriesen. Das war er wohl aufgrund des sehr grossen Pools, ohne Zweifel. Der Saunabereich bietet ein Dampfbad, Biosauna, Finische Sauna und eine kleine Eisgrotte. Der Saunabereich bietet auch einen kleinen separaten Ruhebereich und Wasser stand auch bereit. Allerdings fehlte das Angebot von gesunden Snacks wie Trockenfrüchte, Nüsse oder ähnliches. Mir fehlte es etwas an einem Wohlfühlbereich, da durch den sehr grossen Pool mehr ein Hallenbadfeeling aufkam. Leider suchte ich im Zimmer vergeblich nach einer bereitgestellten Tasche für den Wellnessbereich. Das fand ich bislang in anderen vergleichbaren Hotels immer sehr praktisch und hatte ich bei einem so grossen Wellnessbereich auch erwartet.

Wir waren bereits das 4. Mal hintereinander im März in den Skiferien in Zermatt und jedes Mal war das Christiania Mountain & Spa unser "Zuhause". Die Familie Franzen und ihre Mitarbeitenden leisten einen kompetenten, persönlichen und herzlichen Service in gesamten Hotel. Wir buchen jeweils Halbpension und schätzen das vielfältige und leckere Speisenangebot bei Frühstück und beim Nachtessen. Nach dem Skifahren sind das riesige Schwimmbecken, der grosse Whirlpool und die kleine aber feine Sauna-Landschaft ein optimaler Ort zur Erholung. Das Christiania hat eine Top-Lage im Ort - sei es für Skifahrer (direkt neben der Sunnegga-Talstation) oder für Spaziergänger (Bahnhof/Bahnhofstrasse/Zentrum in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar). Wir werden auch im 2026 wieder im Christiania zuhause sein...

I have been staying at Hotel Christiania on a yearly basis since 1994 and it always feels like coming home. The family Franzen and their highly professional staff welcome us each time as part of the family. Their hospitality and "yes-we-can" attitude has never failed to impress me. Hotel Christiania has all the qualities of a perfect ski holiday resort: beautiful rooms, a world class spa, the best breakfast and great dinners and last, but not least: location, location, location - literally only a few steps away from the nearest skilift. I warmly recommend Hotel Christiania, the perfect example of Swiss hospitality at its best.

This hotel provides a great opportunity to experience Zermatt, located just minutes from the Sunnegga base station. The property features a spacious pool and an excellent spa, making it a relaxing retreat. The rooms are large, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering a pleasant stay. Service is generally attentive and friendly. However, the restaurant falls short in organization. While the dining area is spacious and comfortable, the à la carte menu is not complemented by efficient service. Staff often seem disorganized, and there is a noticeable lack of consistency in replenishing buffet dishes. Another drawback is the handling of in-room amenities. Upon arrival, guests receive complimentary water, fruit, and chocolates, but these are not replenished throughout the stay. While housekeeping ensures that rooms are clean and well-prepared, this small oversight affects the overall experience. Overall, it’s a good 4-star hotel with excellent facilities, but improvements in service and attention to detail would elevate the experience.

Great stay! Amazing staff, great food and drinks. Will return with friends and family again. Bartender couldn't be better! Beds were comfortable in the single rooms, pool and sauna hit the spot after a day of skiing and drinking throughout Zermatt. Stayed for 6 nights and wish I didn't have to leave.
