Amazing what looks like a small hotel...but is not...big pool, sauna, all the perks...Great friendly staff...and of course a great view of Matterhorn..very good place to stay in Zermatt

Gem of a hotel in a prime location! Christiania Hotel was wonderful. Very nice property and amenities, and rooms are modern, clean, and well-appointed. Service is impeccable. Prime location. One minute walk to the funicular and five minute walk to the main street. Unfortunately my wife got sick while we were in Zermatt and didn’t feel well enough to leave on the day we were supposed to. The front desk was fantastic in accommodating us. They allowed us to extend our stay and shuffled things around so we could keep the same room. They also provided us everything we needed to help my wife feel better. Really wonderful management and staff here. A huge thank you to them! When we one day return to Zermatt, we will definitely pick the Christiania Hotel again!

Wonderful stay at the Christiana We had a beautiful and relaxing stay at the Christiana. It's a cute, charming, and beautiful hotel with a world class pool and spa area and the very best, unobstructed view of the Matterhorn in Zermatt!!! All of the staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We will defintely stay there again, next time we're in Zermatt.

Accueil exceptionnel

Stayed there twice in September and it is the best hotel in the village. You will not find a better value for money proposition, service from the heart with a smile, the best food, a great bar, Gym, a 25 metres long pool, a Spa and even tennis. The hotel has the perfect view of the Matterhorn, all day long!

This is the first time for us to visit Zermatt, Switzerland. Very warm welcome from all staff. Nice room, good view from our balcony. Good food from breakfast buffet. Hotel location is easy to walk to shopping center and train station. ❄️🏔🌬☃️😘

Séjour extrêmement agréable dans cet hôtel de grande qualité, avec grands-parents et enfants. Les points très positifs : personnel très sympathique, chambres bien décorées et confortables, vue magnifique sur le Cervin, piscine couverte et spa particulièrement spacieux et bien aménagés. Belle salle à manger en bois, cuisine délicieuse. Nous reviendrons !

Room type: Double Superior (Matterhorn View) + extra bed Nights stayed: 2 nights What we loved: - Definitely the matterhorn view on a clear day! - Shuttle bus provided to/from train station when checking in and checking out - Lovely staff overall Didn’t have time to use the pool but it was a relatively decent size pool with a sauna as well!

Amazing hotel with perfect rooms! The views were unbeatable. The spa was clean and great. The pool was amazing as well. My only complaint is why does it have to close so early? The best part of this hotel is the staff. They are so friendly and nice, they really make the place special. Particular kudos to Frank, Carrie and Anna. Literally everyone we met there were so special. We have stayed many times in Zermatt and many hotels and this is by far our favorite and that is not easy to say as there are so many amazing hotels in Zermatt!
