Hotel Zakynthos

- moet in room (in Airc.) - not enough water for everyone (They hide water in kitchen and bar) Because they dont wanna buy more. - food is normal - pool is nice - town Zakynthos is close - 30 minutes with car and you can see turtles its nice

Everything was woderfull. The staff was very friendly and happy, the breakfast was amazing and it has a lot of variety, the room was very clean and the pool was amazing. I hope to come back very soon this summer or next year. I miss yoy all already see you soon!!!

Firstly, the management team are aware of me writing this review, I do feel it necessary to advise other travelers of the issues that we encountered. George the manager was advised of the following, • the lift was erratic, in terms of not working, when being used it would stop and lights go out, at these times the alarm was pressed, albeit no one responded. • There are no handrails, on the stairs inside the stairwell and outside from the bedrooms main block down to the pool area, therefore totally unsuitable for anybody that has a disability or has need for additional support when ascending/descending stairs. • Our party of 5 people requested twin rooms at the time of booking and followed this up with a call direct to the hotel, upon arrival we were all given double beds, this was rectified on the 2nd night. • The rooms are dated and small, the bathroom/shower room had black mold in several areas. • The food was of reasonable standard, although repetitive, the dining area is also the bar area and pool area, with metal table and chairs. No other communal area/bar. • Air conditioning did not work in Room 418 for the duration of 4 days, even though reported 3 times. • The toilets did not flush in the mornings, we asked if this was an issue on the island, apparently it wasn’t, after reporting the concern, toilets did flush on day 3. • The hotel advertises all-inclusive drinks, this is limited to local drinks, which are all served in plastic cups, this also applies to tea and coffee! (Very hot). • The plastic card holder to switch on the electricity in Room 204 is hanging from the wall, the card heated up, this was also reported. • There is a courtesy minibus that will take you to the beach daily, this leaves at 10.30 and returns at 1.30, no other buses during the day – therefore if you do go to the beach and hire the sunbeds @ 10 euros each, consider that you will need to get a taxi back. • The hotel is approx. 2 miles from Tsilivi, taxis cost is as far ranging from 10 euros to 20 euros. • Note there are no telephone in rooms, therefore unable to call to reception. • Sunbeds are dirty in desperate need of replacing. Pool dirty - see photos. Our group were looking for a restful holiday – to sit by the pool, read and eat local food, unfortunately due to the young client group that the hotel attracts this was not possible and the young groups of lads and girls were usually under the influence of alcohol and rowdy, were usually coming in around 2-4am! (Not a prob, but just be aware that alcohol did fuel a few arguments). Our expectations were not realized, unfortunately our need for a relaxing holiday did not materialize. Zante is a quiet undeveloped island, the people are nice, the hotel staff tried their best, but it just didn’t work out. The manager apologized and said that he had tried to remedy the issues raised but couldn’t resolve, he did say that the rooms were due for renovation, these are much needed and for health and safety

Λοιπον, ξεκιναω απο τα θετικα. Εξαιρετικα φιλοξενο προσωπικο, ολοι ανεξαιρετως, απο τον ιδιοκτήτη εως τις καμαριέρες ηταν προθυμοι να μας εξυπηρετησουν. Με δικο του χωρο σταθμευσης εξω απο το ξενοδοχειο. Ειχαμε κλείσει δικλινο, και μας εδωσαν τρικλινο απο μονοι τους, με εξαιρετικη θεα στην πισινα. Οι εγκαταστασεις του ξενοδοχείου ηταν πολυ ομορφες, με κηπακια γυρω απο την πισινα και τα δωματια. Το πακετο μας ηταν all inclusive, και περιελαμβανε τα παντα, ολα τα γευματα, σνακ και ποτα. Για τα 80€ τη βραδια （Σεπτέμβριος） ηταν πολυ καλο deal. Στα αρνητικα τωρα. Η καθαριότητα του δωματιου ηταν μετρια. Σεντονια, πετσετες ηταν καθαρα, ομως δεν νομιζω να μας τα αλλαξαν στα 4 βραδια που μειναμε. Το μπανιο ηθελε δουλιτσα γενικοτερα. Μικροσκοπικη ντουζιερα, το νερο εκει που εκανες μπανιο ξαφνικα αλλαζε θερμοκρασια απο ζεστο σε παγωμενο ή καυτο και μετα απο λιγο επανερχοταν. Το καζανακι ειχε θεματα. Επρεπε να ανοιξεις το καπακι και να κουνησεις το φλοτερ για να ξαναγεμισει αφοτου το παταγες. Η βρυση του νιπτηρα εσταζε απο τη βαση της με αποτέλεσμα να γεμιζει νερο το πατωμα. Η πισινα ενω ηταν καθαρο το νερο, χωρις σκουπιδια και βρωμιες, στα τοιχωματα ειχε μια ελαφρια πρασιναδα, η οποια γνωριζω οτι δεν ειναι βρωμια και προκαλειται απο την υγρασία του νερου, ομως ηταν σημαδι οτι ισως δεν καθαριζοταν οπως επρεπε. Τιμιο ξενοδοχείο σε γενικες γραμμες, με καποιες μικροβελτιωσεις που ανεφερα παραπανω θα ειναι για 5 αστερια.

Τόσο βρώμικο πεθαίνεις.... Τουαλέτα κατάμαυρη η λεκάνη,η βρύση τόσο βρώμικη να μην μπορείς να την αγγίξεις.... Καλώδια έξω από τις μπρίζες, μούχλα στην πισίνα, φαγητό κατώτερο του μετρίου με πολύ κακής ποιότητας υλικά, τρίχες παντού.... Παντελή αδιαφορία του υπεύθυνου του ξενοδοχείου, ακόμα περιμένουμε για τις μπρίζες και την καθαριότητα....

Ότι χειρότερο. Πολύ βρόμικο. Τα δωμάτια μόλις μας τα παραδώσανε ήταν βρώμικο το πάτωμα και η λεκάνη. Η πισίνα έχει πρασινηλα περιμετρικά, μάλλον δεν την συντηρούν. Το φαγητό που σου δίνουν στην τιμή είναι για τα σκουπίδια. Στην τιμή θεωρητικά είναι και τα ποτά στην πισίνα, όλα είναι μάρκα κανισταν, νερό με σιρόπι. Στο ένα από τα δύο δωμάτια που είχαμε μία μπριζα ήταν ξήλωμενη, τους το ανέφερα μόλις πήγα και με αγνόησαν. Δυστυχώς δεν μπόρεσα να φύγω από την πρώτη μέρα λόγο δεκαπενταυγουστου, αναγκάστηκα να τους πληρώσω δύο βράδια 450 €. Η απάντηση τους σε όλα αυτά ήταν ότι έπρεπε να είχα φύγει από την πρώτη μέρα. Παίζουν με τις διακοπές του κόσμου. Σου καταστρέφουν τις διακοπές. Είναι επιεικώς απαράδεκτοι.
