Golden Sun Hotel

Great hotel The Golden Sun resort really is a treat. I would highly recommend, the staff were lovely, food and snacks amazing and the location and swimming pools are of the highest standard We did have one issue where we had booked a double bed and got told we could only have two singles when we got there which was not what I booked. They couldn’t change it which I was disappointed about, but the rooms were very spacious and clean albeit. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in zante and will definitely be booking again… this time ensuring a double bed though.

Una settimana di relax Residence ben curato e pratico a livello logistico. Camere di fronte alla piscina carine ed accoglienti, lo spazio è gestito bene tra bagno camera e balcone. Cucina ottima, pasti ben preparati per tutte le tipologie di cucina (italiana e non). Piscina molto utile se non ai vuole andare al mare. La spiaggia più vicina è a due minuti a piedi, sennò con pochi minuti di macchina si raggiunge tutte le altre. Periodo fine agosto inizio settembre

Lovely hotel. Great food and wonderful staff made this AI break a fabulous one. The room was serviced every day and was left immaculate. The pool was a little chilly but the beach (2 mins walk) was absolutely beautiful and we spent 2 of our 5 days there. Wonderful sandy beach with shallow water (great for small children). Excellent beach bar too. Fantastic holiday.

I visited late October with my husband for a week. We booked last minute and got an excellent deal. The hotel is in an excellent location, really close to a beautiful beach. The staff were really helpful and friendly, rooms were clean (cleaners came in every day) and the facilities were very good. I don't understand people's negative comments about the food. There was a great deal of variety for an all inclusive hotel. I was particularly impressed with the choices- fresh salads every day and a variety of delicious cakes. Never an issue getting sunbeds but beware in October the pool is cold- not much can be done about that however! I would have liked to drink a glass of wine with my evening meal instead of from a plastic beaker but can understand why the hotel might be reluctant to do this. I'd actually give 4.5 stars. A special mention to the bar manager Yannis(?). He was so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and don't be put off by some of the negative comments- some people are never happy!

It was a wonderful experience, staffs were great. Food was good too.
