Bitzaro Palace Hotel - All Inclusive

Beautiful hotel gorgeous setting and so so friendly staff x food was nice and atmosphere amazing x read mixed reviews about the hotel so took bull by horns and went x don't regret it and will be returning next year x every thing was so clean and had room serviced every day x balcony view just blown away x

Our home from home . This was our 8th visit to Bitzaro Palace we obviously can highly recommend this hotel . Staff are amazing, hotel and the beautiful grounds are spotless clean . Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Excellent choice of food at every sitting plus a snack menu in between lunch and dinner . You will never go hungry! Situated in a quiet country setting and within a short walk to shops , bars , restaurants on the Kalamaki road . The opposite way you have a peaceful pretty walk to the beach . Very good value for money . We will return year after year .

Een gedateerd hotel. Gedeeltelijk Gerenoveerd. Houten vloeren rondom zwembad niet. Veel losse en kapotte planken. Hopelijk gebeuren er geen ongelukken. Niet geschikt voor mensen slecht ter been. Personeel werkt heel hard. Kamers goed schoon en het eten is prima bereid. Weinig tot geen vertier rondom. 3 avonden per week muziek van zangeres met begeleiding. Verder geen gezelligheid in het hotel. Advies neem kaarten of spelletjes mee.

Firstly TUI advertised this hotel as 4T which would imply that it’s a hotel at the higher quality end of the places TUI have to offer. This couldn’t be further from the truth. For starters the pictures you see on line are so out of date. The whole outside pool area needs ripping up and replacing as it is a health and safety hazard (see pictures). The trees on one side of the pool area need ripping out as they are so tall they block the sun from reaching half of the pool area for most of the day. The sun beds are old and falling apart. I’m sure the beanbags were a good idea but they use so much space which would better used with extra sun beds people can actually use to see the sun. The hotel has put up signs saying no reserving of sun beds before 9am, if you do they will remove towels and personal belongings, sadly they don’t do this and unless you get down before 7am you don’t stand a chance of getting a sun beds that sees the sun. The rest of the hotel seems to of been through some updating. It is kept clean and all the staff work their socks off to make your holiday a good one. We had a twin room that looked over another hotel. The beds were comfortable, but the mattress had seen better days as they sunk in the middle so no chance of making magic in them! Same as the rest of the hotel the rooms are cleaned daily. If you are here before 1st May or after 30th September don’t expect to have air conditioning as it is switched off, even though it’s still hot and would warrant air conditioning. I would have opened the doors at night but you would look like a pin cushion by the morning from mosquito bites which for those that don’t know Zante is known for!!!! The food and drinks on offer are the same as any all inclusive you stay in Europe. Day to day the food is very predictable so you are bored with it all by day 3. The snack bar is by order only unlike other hotels where you help yourself. However this does mean it’s all fresh so you don’t have to guess how long it’s been sat there or who mucky fingers have touch it. Also to make you aware the hotel is at the end of the island runway so you should expect to hear a lot of noise whilst trying to relax. I would also say this isn’t a children friendly hotel for either activities or food.

After reading lots of reviews I was worried about coming here but it hss been lovely. Hotel is clean, food is also good & never had a problem. Rooms are good size and cleaned every day. Only down side & would stop me coming again is the craziness of the pool. Signs everywhere saying no towels top 9am but people are putting them down at 6am. That is not a holiday for us if you have to get up at that time. It’s absolutely crazy. Hotel staff don’t care about it when I mentioned it & TUI rep said it’s an ongoing problem. We are made to go to the beach & pay 15 euros a day for beds. I would hate to think what it is like in high summer when families come to get a sunbed.

The Bitzaro Palace could be the perfect mid priced Greek getaway. I say 'could be' because it fails on 1 major thing - sunbeds. The food, bedrooms, cleanliness & atmosphere are very good but the sunbed situation does somewhat override them all as its a massive part of the holiday. By 7.30am all poolside beds have been claimed everyday. I know this because against all my holiday rest rules I ventured down to see the same sunbed Kings & Queens surveying their sunbed savannah with coffee in hand! It clearly says the pool area is closed from 6pm to 9am. This 1 thing is the reason we'd sadly not return.
