Savvas-Demar Hotel

Savvas hotel was one of the best places I have stayed the staff were kind and helpful anything I needed they did not hesitate to provide it the food at pool bar was brilliant always hit the spot. The drinks package that is offered on arrival was well worth the spend it saved me a lot of money threw out my holiday I would definitely recommend this hotel

Brilliant hotel, great staff, the air conditioning unit is a tad temperamental and there’s an unnecessary third bed in our bedroom. Ah lass has brought about 20 suitcases and there’s no room to move. Looked around corner on our balcony and someone’s left a bin lid there. Also got an unnecessary 7th chair. Up the owls.

Durante il soggiorno, i giovani ospiti hanno disturbato costantemente con schiamazzi fino a tarda notte, rovinando completamente ogni possibilità di riposo. Le camere erano sporche e trascurate, con evidenti segni di poca pulizia. Il personale sembrava disinteressato alle lamentele e non ha fatto nulla per risolvere i problemi. Un'esperienza assolutamente da dimenticare, non consiglierei questo hotel a nessuno. La colazione americana pessima, quella italiana consisteva in pane con nutella. Piscina sporchissima, non abbiamo potuto fare il bagno per paura di contrarre qualche malattia. Da evitare assolutamente, avremmo preferito spendere di più ma godere di un soggiorno migliore.

The worst hotel to stay at, we arrived at this hotel after a long flight, and then got held in an interrogation room where they tried to force you to buy their wristbands. It was €220 for 7 days but you don’t get the 7th day. If your going to be by the pool a lot it maybe worth it but if not it’s a waste of money. The pool never gets cleaned you can’t see the bottom of the floor. They keep your passports in a “safe” which is never locked for your stay. There’s was 10 of us in a group but we booked in two’s and checked in two’s. Our towels only got changed twice the whole time we were there. The bathroom floods so easily aswell as there are no doors. You have to pay an extra €50 for the air con and safe. At the end of our stay we went to check out there said we need all 10 of us but they were happy to check us in in pairs. I asked them the day before saying what time is check out because our coach was at 8:50. They said just come 5 minutes before to drop the keys back. So we were all there by 8:45 and they inspected all our rooms for damage. They tried to say we lost the keys to one room and charge us €150 even though the cleaner had picked them up the day before so forced us two the money otherwise we weren’t getting the keys back. We then missed our coach because of this process and had to get a cab to this hotel. However they do let you do whatever you want there are no rules and can stay up till 9am blasting your speaker.

I was absolutely terrified after seeing some of the reviews but can honestly say Savvas is a great hotel for a party style holiday. I stayed alongside 3 of my friends for 7 days and we had a grand time. It’s very simple and basic but you’re 100% getting what you pay for. Staff were lovely - Owen was an absolute diamond the entire time we were there. However, upon arrival you are taken to a room where they convince you to buy the hotel wrist bands and when you don’t after much much conversation the two male reps make you feel like you’re boring haha. The cleaners came 2 days out of the 7 which isn’t ideal. The shower has no door so often the bathroom got flooded and we had to use our only towels to clean it and weren’t provided with anymore. The noise around the hotel at night time is no joke. But, it is easy to sleep through. We paid €45 for the aircon, safe and tourism tax (each) which was fabulous. Overall, a decent stay. We did have to pay a massive €30 for breaking a plastic chair though. Would defo stay again!!!!

Amazing hotel. Paid for the 3 hour wristbands on arrival which was 100% worth it as we got our moneys worth in the evenings before going out. Best party hotel, loud music day and night, lots of people there in the evenings for a social. We had an “apartment” type room where we had 6 of us in 2 rooms with a shared kitchen and bathroom, and a huge balcony. This was by far the best room. Bathroom isn’t the cleanest however we weren’t expecting much better. Fresh towels can be given if you ask for them so that was no problem. Cleaner came 1/2 out of the 7 days (could’ve come more). Rooms were clean enough anyway and very spacious for 6 of us. Amazing staff, reception staff always helpful and the reps are very helpful too. Food was good and very well priced which meant we weren’t spending too much on food, especially with the 20% off from our wristbands. Would 100% stay again, by far the best party hotel in Zante, would highly recommend for a girls holiday!!
