Surprise Surprise A wonderful surprise and 1st class welcome. Restaurant was excellent and the wine was superb. A dream stop over and wonderful experience.

Bodega El Moral We really enjoyed our visit to Bodega El Moral. Check in was friendly and quick. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the separate restaurants. The wine which was produced at the bodega was delicious and we bought some more when leaving. Overall very good impression and we will come back

The hotel stands -proudly surveying the surrounding empty countryside from its slightly elevated position, justifying the dirt road drive. Although there is a magnificent property overlooking lawn, trees and swimming pool, the bedrooms are set around an adjoined inner courtyard the opposite side of the magnificent property. Rooms are quite small with little light, this being an old building with thick walls and smallish windows. Room was ok for sleeping in, but not much else. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was reasonably good. A loudspeaker placed in a restaurant window broadcast Anglo-American music from 1960s to 80s from around 6pm to create « ambiance ». Unfortunately this could be heard in the bedroom. The jewel for me, on a hot autumn day, was the lawn on the other side of the magnificent property, shaded by beautiful trees and backing onto the pool, a very pleasant place to read and dream. The pool, disappointingly, was covered with decomposed and decomposing leaf mould. I swam a few lengths, but it was not pleasant. As a result, this review should be for three or three and a half stars, but the employees, particularly the lady at dinner, were so charming that I couldn’t give only three stars, so four it has to be!

Me hospedei com minha família por uma noite neste hotel, e eu devo dizer que deixou muito a desejar. O lugar é de difícil acesso, o GPS não conseguia nem mesmo localizar direito, e ao entrarmos em contato com o hotel para nos localizarmos, desligaram grosseiramente na nossa cara. O quarto com muitos problemas básicos, como falta de papel higiênico e um frigobar que não gelava nada, café da manhã sem opções nenhuma, os funcionários não falavam inglês, um sinal de celular e internet horrível, e na hora de pagar um absurdo: nossa noite sairia por cerca de 280 € no total, mas a funcionária não prestou atenção e digitou como 28.000 €, e ainda por cima não sabia nem mesmo fazer um extorno do valor, mostrando total despreparo profissional da mesma. Por sorte conseguimos entrar em contato com o banco, e com muito custo fazer o extorno do dinheiro, e ele chegou em menos de uma semana. As únicas coisas boas foram o jantar e o garçom que nos atendeu
