Oku Yugawara Tsubaki arvostelua

夕食も朝食も部屋で最高の本格派おもてなし懐石料理。ご飯がおいしい。広い部屋付きの冷蔵庫内の飲み物(ビール、みず)や　大浴場と露天風呂の近くのラウンジで冷酒やアイスやドリンクが飲み放題なのは嬉しい。私達の部屋は本館で　静かな寒椿の庭と鯉のいる池に面していて　窓辺に向かって餌をたべに寄ってきる鯉たちがカワイイ。　廊下や床間に飾ってある生花や床間の掛け軸、屏風も風格がある。椿の花がテーマの食器、小鉢、コーヒーカップ、茶碗、刺繍入りタオルなどの小物も趣味が良い。但し、電車来る旅行者の為の駅からのアクセスは送迎無し。市バスの案内はあるが、奥湯河原バス停から旅館玄関に入るには　かなり急勾配の坂を登るので　荷物が多い客には　市バスでなく駅からタクシーで来る様に忠告すべきだと思う。JR湯河原駅からタクシーは2千円。

前回は迎賓館に宿泊し、今回は本館に宿泊しましたが、 サービスや、施設の面で値段以上の差を感じました。 リピータへの気遣いがないことも、残念です。

The food is tasty, but one piece of sashimi Toro is chewey not tender.

完美的酒店。環境幽雅，房間大而舒適，化粧室，浴室和露天温泉在同一區域，非常人性化，洗漱卸粧護理用品齊全，還有面膜，考慮周全。懷石料理晚餐堪稱完美，每一道菜都是用當季食材用心製作，口感豐富而鮮美，早餐也很不錯，為廚師長點贊。酒店人員的服務熱情周到，特別感謝KAWASE，家人一樣的親切，讓我們度過了特別美好的兩天。

酒店位於山區環境優美、酒店內部設計精美員工非常細心熱情，今次住的房間內有溫泉設施，半露天剛好碰上下雨天氣氛非常好。下次定必再次入住。

We loved the Ryokan experience, staffs were excellent with services, foods were delicious! My husband and I were satisfied with the experience even though it’s pricey, totally worth it!

My wife and I splurged for a single night at Tsubaki Ryoukan during our Japan holiday, and we loved it. We took a taxi from Atami which cost us around $50aud, but there are buses that go up to the hotel as well. The building and it's rooms are very traditional, and upon arriving we were given some freshly brewed matcha while watching the koi swim around the pond in the garden atrium. Our room overlooked a small garden too, which was lit up beautifully at night. Unfortunately we were a little too early to see the maple leaves turn fully red, but I can only imagine how beautiful it must look when they do. The onsen itself was dreamy, and we must have taken at least 6 baths in the single night we spent there! The included kaiseki meal was wonderful, but ended up being too much food than we could comfortably eat all at once! Regardless, it was all delicious and our housekeeper was so sweet and patient with us, despite my poor Japanese skills. My wife and I are both heavily tattooed so could not make use of the main public bath, but we knew that going in, and took full advantage of the private bath in our room instead. If you are looking for a more retro luxury ryoukan experience I would highly recommend Tsubaki!

The staff is very nice but the property is old, cramped and humid. A strong smell of mold in the room prevents from a good night sleep. To be avoided

Exceptional traditional ryokan if you want to relax in Hakone & Yugawara! The thoughtfulness and service of the staff was wonderful in every aspect. Rooms were supplied with traditional robes, comfortable sleepwear, onsen on our terrace and hot spring baths. Kaiseki cuisine was delicious, plentiful and presentation was over the top. This is a beautiful facility with an excellent staff. If you want to experience Japanese culture at its finest you need to come here. Our 4 day visit was perfect and worth every penny. We will be back!

施設は古いが、これは致し方ないことであり、いかに清潔に保つかであるが、十分満足できました。 最近の宿はレストランでの食事が多く、部屋食は珍しくなっています。 デザートまでのタイミングは非常に満足できましたが、デザート下げるのが少し遅かったです。 全体的には非常にまんぞくしていますが、唯一泉質については若干劣るかと思いました。（部屋の露天風呂は加水、加温で、循環です）

泊まれる料亭と言っているだけに、駐車場からエントリーに始まり、庭、調度品、お風呂、そして夕飯は流石である。 　部屋の庭を眺めながら入る露天風呂は、季節を感じられるし、プライベートな空間の石の湯船でありがなら足が伸ばせてよかった（身長170cm程度）。縁側においてあるデッキチェアーでリラックスして湯上がりのビールを楽しめた。さらに室内は檜の風呂もあり、窓越しではあるが池を眺めて檜の香りを楽しむこともできた。部屋の外にある大浴場は遠くの山並みを眺めながら鶯の声をたのしめた。滞在中はいつでも入ることができるのもよい。 　 　夕飯は料亭の会席料理なのであるが、食材の組み合わせがとても新しく・和の伝統とバスクの★★★リストランテにも共通しているコンセプトを感じられた。食材の味を生かしつつ、組み合わせの妙を楽しみ、口の中に次々と異なる間隔がわき上がることを堪能できた。料理の提供する間隔も絶妙で間が開くこともないし、食べ終わっていないうちに次が来てしまうこともない。 　 　出される「お茶」も素晴らしかった。到着後の宿帳を記入している際の抹茶、部屋についてから館内の案内を伺っている際の煎茶、夕食後の焙じ茶、湯温や濃さなども種類ごとにコントロールされており仲居さんの技量の高さも素晴らしかった。 　ここまでは、★付きのレストランやホテルであれば、同等以上の体験は出来るかと思うが、朝食が素晴らしかった。９つくらいの小さな器に盛られてお膳で提供されたが、どこにも隙の無い厳選された食材を調理であった。さらに、ご飯はお釜でたかれたもので素晴らしかった。以前ホテルマンから「朝ご飯をどれだけ高い品質で出せるかがホテルの格を決める。」と伺っていたが、確かにそうだなと思った。これらの体験を全て部屋ですることができたのは幸せな休日となった。

両親の勧めで、露天風呂付きベッドのお部屋に泊まらせていただきました。久々の湯河原ですが、箱根、特に強羅周辺と比べるとアクセスもしやすいと改めて感じました。 椿の昔の漢字「海石榴」と書き、館内は海石榴の花のモチーフが至る所にあり、外のお庭にも沢山の種類の海石榴の木が植っています。 旅館入り口の外の道を上っていくと、川沿いに回遊路があります。足腰の悪い人には、ちょっとハードな坂道ですが、海石榴や、紅葉、桜の季節は見事なのだろうと想像します。あれだけ大きな回遊路を旅館の庭師の方が手入れをしていましたので、メンテナンスもよくされていると思います。 お部屋は広く、鯉のいる池とお庭の露天風呂もゆったりで温度も丁度良かったです。 ベッドも居心地よく枕を選べました。 朝夕の食事は料理長と私の好みが一緒なのか、全体的に薄味で上品な出汁と期待通りの美味しさでした。アメリカ人の夫にも、この美味しさが分かって欲しいと思いました。 中居さんのサービスも良かったです。夕食に残ったご飯でおにぎりを作っていただきました。 大浴場そばの、ラウンジでの日本酒飲み比べとハッゲンダッツアイスクリームも気分が上がり良かったです。 チャックアウトの際、お土産屋さんで買った品を貰い忘れ、家に戻ってから確かめる電話をしましたら、丁寧なお手紙と一緒に送っていただきました。 可愛い海石榴のコースターですが、大事に使わせていただきます。 ありがとうございました。 At my parents' recommendation, I stayed in a room with beds and an open-air bath. It's been a while since I've been to Yugawara, but I realized once again that it's easier to access than Hakone, especially the Gora area. The old kanji for flower, camellia is written as `sea pomegranate,'' and there are motifs of camellia flowers all over the hotel, and there are many types of camellia trees planted in the garden outside. If you go up the road outside the entrance of the inn, you will find a walking route along the river. It's a bit of a tough slope for people with bad legs, but I imagine it's spectacular during the season of camellia, autumn leaves, and cherry blossoms. I saw an inn's gardener taking care of such a large garden, it must be well maintained all year around. The room was spacious, and the koi pond and open-air bath in the garden were elegant and serene. The bath temperature was just right as well. The beds were comfortable and I had a choice of pillows. Perhaps the head chef and I have the same taste buds, wonderful "dashi" umami, and lightly salted meals of traditional Japanese "Kaiseki" dinner and breakfast were elegant and as delicious as I expected. It was a delighted experience for my American husband to share and understand this delicate taste. Nakai-san's service was also professional. It was very nice of her to have made a rice ball with the leftover rice from dinner. It was a nice extra touch to serve Japanese Sake and Haggen-Dazs ice cream in the lounge next to the grand bath. Sauna was hot and nice as well. When I checked out, I forgot to pick up the items I bought at the souvenir shop, so when I got home I called to check on it, and it was sent to me very next day along with a polite hand written letter. I highly recommend this Ryokan. Thank you very much.
