Sterling Yercaud

Perfect place for weekend and enjoy the nature and serenity of Yercaud hill view in the rooms we stayed in. Services are par better. Rooms are maintained well. Near to main place and accessible to shops outside. Recommend to other as well. Ps. Missed on backage in the room. Room staff found and sent the courier to home. Ariva is the person who took care of things, really appreciate his efforts.

The stay was very relaxing and the staffs are very helpful.

We went during the month of February. Location: The property is located on the cliff of Shevaroy Hills overlooking the city. During night time one can witness the beautiful scene of city lights glowing. Also, every balcony faces the west side so everyone can enjoy the sunset while relaxing. Local Activities: It is located between Ladies Seat view point and Gents Seat view point. The Rose garden and the Silk Farm are also approachable by walking. There is a nursery nearby. Property: As the resort is on a cliff there are a lot of steps inside the property. So it is very difficult to go from one point to another. There is a lift to access the reception, gym, spa and restaurant but to reach the lift you have to walk a lot of steps. The property is very beautiful but a little more maintenance is needed as there are some scopes. Room: We stayed in a Premium Villa with a personal balcony. The view from the balcony was awesome. The ground floor has a kitchen and a sofa-cum bed ***** with a patio The first floor has a king size bed with a bathroom. The room was great but needs a little more upkeep. Staff: The reception staff were courteous and welcoming. The housekeeping staff were also well behaved. The restaurant staff were great and accommodated the personal requests. Special thanks to Surya and Sidyanth for taking care of us. Food: We had opted for breakfast and dinner buffet during our stay. The spread was good and the food taste was delicious. The only thing to point out is that some of the chicken items were not fresh. Parking: Dedicated and limited parking available. Swimming Pool: No swimming pool. Service: The house keeping service took a lot of time. But upon giving the feedback they tried to improve it Satisfaction: Overall satisfied with our stay and would look forward to visiting soon during the season to enjoy the real beauty of the hill station.

Had an amazing and memorable stay with my friends at Sterling Yercaud. The rooms were clean and staff were courteous and responsive. Food was good with decent variety. Amenities can be improved with focus on open field sport activities. Resort recommended for a short stay.

We had a very nice experience at the resort. The resort is located very near to various points of interest and has a unique design. The views from the resort were mind-blowing - no need to go to any view point. Room service and restaurant service was pretty good. Executive chef Mr Suryanarayan Choudhury took very good care of us. Buffet food options were good both for breakfast and dinner. Only downside is that lot of stairs needs to be climbed upon to reach the family room we booked. And the room downstairs had little space crunch. Some room design upgrade will be good to have - even though everything is clean in the rooms. But overall, a nice stay in a decent budget.
