Not Worth the Hype – Definitely Not a 5-Star Experience Our recent stay at Liberty Kusadasi was very disappointing, and I can honestly say the only positives were the friendly guest relations ladies and the 24-hour patisserie, which offered a nice variety of treats. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience did not live up to the hotel's supposed 5-star rating. The room was outdated and desperately in need of refurbishment. Our air conditioning broke down repeatedly during the night, making it very uncomfortable. The housekeeping staff, including their manager, were consistently rude and unprofessional. Restaurant staff were no better—apart from one or two exceptions, most came across as disinterested and impolite. One major issue was that the buffet food was incorrectly labelled, and my vegetarian wife ended up eating beef. No apology was offered; the situation was simply brushed aside, which is completely unacceptable. The à la carte restaurants were the only places where we experienced decent service from polite and attentive staff. All in all, Liberty Kusadasi is nowhere near a five-star resort. At best, it might pass for 3 to 4 stars. We won't be returning.
