I have been coming to Tunisia for 15 years. I've never had a bad hotel or experience until this awful holiday... If I hadn't been to Tunisia before and this was my first time, I'd never return. We always stay in North Hammamet. We will go back there in September. We decided at short notice to book a cheap fly and flop and the reviews here were good so we booked it. I had wondered that a hotel with such good reviews was so cheap, and it clearly shows they were orchestrated by the team, the hotel and staff. Now people are massive booking based on those reviews, the truth in this hotel is being unravelled. We were even accosted by 3 cleaners in the loft to write reviews ... We arrived to find our room wasn't ready and unfortunately for us eas not aware of the rooms not being ready before 2pm. The first negative was the rude reception staff ... wow, serious lack of customer service. How about smiling and being polite. We were told (it was 9.45) to go and have a drink, use the pool, and our room would be ready at the earliest 1pm. I went to the bar (the only one they have 🫣, although a small pool bar with cheap plastic cups has now opened) and ordered a vodka and coke and a coke. I was greeted with 'no alcohol til 10, water only' ... I waited until after 10 and re ordered. The vodka is like petrol! And apparently so is the whiskey and gin I have been told ... I said to the bar lady (another woman who needs to learn social skills) that this was just awful and she told me to buy a 'shelf' brand! I see, that's how it works is it... so I did. I asked for a coke, but I had to buy that aswell as original coke is chargeable, coke zero or diet coke was free. After paying for my vodka and coke, I advise do NOT be fooled into thinking you are buying Absolute, you're being sold cheap vodka in a branded bottle... Still waiting for the room at 1pm I asked the reception when our room would be ready. He says go for lunch and come back ... Oh hell, what an experience this is ..! The food hall is a joke. Doesn't even open AT 12.30 and people form a long queue whilst others then just push in to get to the food or a table ... The food isn't ready when you do get in. If you want pizza, then be prepared to wait another 10 minutes while it's cooked, by which time the queue is so long it's all gone in one go and you wait for more to be cooked. The salad isn't fresh. The queuing is ridiculous... I've never been to a buffet all inclusive where you queue just to see the food and if you don't like it (god help you to find something you could possibly eat) you have queued for nothing. The food is repeated every day, slight variation to the main meat dish. But you've got to love chicken!! Tables are dirty, try finding a plate or knife and fork and a clean glass ! Waiters are hit and miss as to whether they want to help you or not. The food is awful. I didn't eat anything for 4 days except buying crisps from the local shop due to the lack of edible food. Breakfast, dinner

Animation & activities were really engaging and enjoyable. I enjoyed the water aerobics.when completed by Ziko very entertaining and stretching. I also enjoyed musical chairs and the dancing after their entertainment. The hotel staff have been brilliant, very polite, respectful and could not do enough for all customers. A very pleasant stay. Waiters Salah was particularly attentive and deserves a mention for being a fantastic member of your team.
