I am not one to ever right a review but I am saddened and disappointed on my solo trip to this hotel, I go to Tunisa every year and this hotel I was for the first time highly disappointed. I arrived at this hotel at 12pm and was told my check in was not until 2pm and was told to sit in the hot reception until 1.30pm where then checked me In, I then went to the lunch hall and was told if I wanted lunch I would have to pay which I was very confused about as I was full board plus and never had this in any other hotel I have stayed at before. I was very dissapointed with the service at dinner where you are meant to be offered 1 drink with dinner, not once at lunch or dinner was I offered a drink with a meal other than water. I was very disappointed with the room, I booked a room with a balcony which I did not get ( not the end of the world) but dissapointed as this is what I paid for. I came to find dirty towels, even ripped towels in the bathroom which I did not want to use, my bathroom sink was broken where the sink was stuck on the plug. This room was very run down. Within my stay there was lots of maintenance taking place in the hallways which also created some news. After all these issues easyJet were very helpful to help me out and emailed the hotel straight away, they approached me later that afternoon in a slightly rude manor saying “ you wanted a balcony” and they then changed my room. Unfortunately as a solo traveler I did not feel comfortable despite the change and decided to leave early, easyJet were very helpful to assist me with this.
