After a bumpy start due to the worst possible room it was a good experience since they changed my room. All thanks to Taiab.

I am not a negative person but this is without a doubt the Worst experience i have so far. Don't believe it's 4 Star. It can not be more than 2 star. Attaching some photos of my room, I let everyone else to decide how much star you would want to give to this hotel. I suggest do your research first before booking your holidays in this hotel. Avoid at all cost.

Hotel is so good animation is perfect food and drinks everything sweet i will came back for surę and i love Tunisia very much

Having just spent a week with family at the Marco Polo i want to give an honest review of the hotel. having visited the hotel previously in 2019 i was expecting more. it still delivers in some areas but has definitely gone backwards in my opinion. Pro's POOL, pool and Gardens are lovely, swim up bar is nice and the two water jet seating places are great although only on for limited hours during the day. usual sunbed chaos but we never failed to find the number we needed and they looked new. . Bit tired in places with cracked floor tiles but a lovely place to spend a hot day although one of our party did cut a toe quite badly. Waiting staff are great Tarick and Wavy Davy in the pool bar made our days fun and the entertainment team also made a lot of effort to create a great holiday experience. Now the Con's BEACH Sunbeds on the beach were in a right mess and if we weren't using towels they wouldn't be usable. ROOM, spotlessly clean but had major faults and when reported to reception were not made right for the duration of our stay. The internal dividing room door was missing completely (see picture) this ment there was a lot of noise from next door. reception ignored my requests for a room change for a week. There was no iron in the room or kettle, a minimum for a supposedly 4 star Hotel surely TV didn't work for first 5 days and it was only partially fixed after the fifth complaint. the safe wasn't fitted to any wall and was removable !! plus it wasnt working due to the mechanism being dismantled. (see video) non-existent toiletries in bathroom with soap dispensers in the bathroom broken and empty. FOOD, whilst it was plentiful i found it to be alway luke warm even when it was just replenished, that may explain the random microwave in the food hall. The variety was also lacking and was very repetitive and i overheard multiple guests questioning this. Ala Carte Restaurants. impossible to book and all apparently in the same room. i never spoke to anyone who had actually used one. DRINKS no low sugar version of any soft drinks although it was Coke Cola and not a local branded cola. as a diabetic this wasnt great for me. Beer was a local lager called Celtia, plentiful but basic with no other choice This hotel could be so much more with a little bit of hard work and imagination. i wouldn't want to stop people using this hotel but just be aware that its a not a full 4 star.
