Xitang River View Holiday Hotel

The room had a great view and the staff were friendly. It felt more like a hostel than a hotel, from the very basic breakfast to the facilities, the building was lacking maintenance with mosquitoes entering the hotel/bedrooms through gaps in the doors/windows even with fly screens. It felt as if stuff was added as an after thought, the toilet in our bathroom faced a clear window overlooking the restaurant area (you had to close the curtain to use the facilities). The light switch for the bathroom was next to the entrance door to the bedroom (nowhere near the bathroom). The balcony was accessible from a side door and felt like an add-on after the hotel was built. Construction noise throughout the day was audible from outside and noise from the hallway and neighbouring bedrooms audible at night, making the room uncomfortable to enjoy. The carpets in the hallway were filthy and cobwebs/mosquitoes in the hallway, lift, lobby, etc. The rooftop was accessible but no edge protection could result in a child or anyone at that falling off the side of the building. I wouldn't recommend this place to friends, nor would i stay there again. --

The toilet in this room type is small. Good location just next to river with good views. Walking distance around 8 mins to main walking street. Many eateries around hotel.

環境和地點很好，就是酒店房間有些小配件需要修理一下～
