Yamba Beach Motel

This hotel was the best one until now during our Australia trip. Wonderful room, a very friendly and kind host, perfect location.

1 overnight stop on our way from NSW Lake Macquarie to a family holiday on the Gold Coast The overnight stay at this location was due to nobody in the family having ever been to Yamba. The motel staff were very helpful and told me how to do a late check in. The 2 bedroom family unit was roomy, comfortable and clean and had everything we needed for 1 or more nights Wife and I went for an early morning walk (5kms) and loved the place, the locals were friendly and location beautiful so we will be back there in late October on our way up north on another trip. Tried to make a booking for a few nights on our way back in November but it's booked out.

We stayed two nights in a ground floor 2 bed apartment. Very clean. Every detail is spot on. Coffee pods, biscuits, bottled milk and a reasonably priced mini bar. Beds were bit hard but ok. There is a restaurant on site and walk to beach. No lift so if mobility an issue ask for ground floor. The toiletries are MOR brand. Very good. Staff excellent. Would highly recommend this motel.

Yamba Beach Motel is in a great location across the road from the park and near the sea. It is close to a great surf beach and a car park with many spaces. There are a variety of rooms to suit your needs, reasonably spacious and with good facilities. Customer service was really good and they were open to a late check out which was great. The only challenge was that the mattress could do with being updated.

The Yamba Beach Motel is a great choice for a stay in Yamba. The property is really well located right near one of the main beaches and has great management who are very responsive to guest requests. Our apartment was spotless also confirming a great housekeeping team. A great choice.

Our room overlooked the carpark and while not a sea view it was quiet. It was spacious enough, and the ensuite with shower was fine. The provided soaps etc seemed a cut above normal quality. There wer plenty of extras that make a stay here easy - coffee maker with pods, toaster, basic crockery etc. Fridge was fully stocked as a minibar. Bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and seemed freshly painted even though the building isn’t new. There was a damp odour when we first entered, we had to air it out - but this might be from the water. We enjoyed our stay, close to ocean pool, beach and the pub.

Both the location and the staff make this a hidden gem. We were driving and were late so the receptionist kindly emailed and posted notes on doors with instructions on how we could access our (kindly & pleasantly surprised) upgraded rooms. Both our rooms were clean, well appointed and had balconies looking out on little park and one of Yamba's beaches. Although Winter, the (free) salt-water pool and beach were refreshing. Can't wait to return! The most thoughtful and friendly staff we met on our trip.

Great place to stay! Right at Yamba main beach. Walkable to town (8-15 min). Staff are great. The bathroom is slightly dated but the room is very clean and daily room servicing is fantastic. Room has ironing board, hair dryer, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, and wash basin (+soap and towels). Great restaurant below.

This was our fifth visit to the hotel which says a lot. The location is great although the steepness of the road down into town is a rest of fitness. The accomodation is good, cleanliness excellent and the staff a complete delight. Helpful and knowledgeable but above all friendly and happy.
