Fairfield Inn & Suites Yakima

Staff very helpful and very professional .

We had an excellent stay at Fairfield Inn. The front desk was friendly. The location was great. It's near Target and restaurants. Very close to downtown. The rooms were updated and very clean. I would most definitely recommend to family and friends.

Best hotel in Yakima. This is a nice place to stay at and was very welcoming. The front desk was very attentive and room service was great! Everything was comfortable. Breakfast was simple but overall good for the family. Close to Bobs burgers which is a plus and target!

This hotel was very nice, newly renovated, my kids loved the pool. Staff was great up to satisfaction, very professional. The beds were very comfortable and room very very clean housekeeping was professional. I highly recommend this property of destination.

Seems that our placement was an afterthought which we didn't appreciate despite being a loyal Bonvoy member for over 20+ years with a gold status. They don't read your Bonvoy preferences and placed us in an ADA room. Shower spray doesn't stay in place, missing coffee pot in the coffee maker; bed mattress was sagging and bedsheets worn out. Also located not in the best part of town.

I planned a road trip across the PNW based on Marriotts with a pool. This hotel does not have a pool, even though every listing indicates that they do. They have a big empty hole that they call a pool but have a sign on the door that says it’s out of order. The very unfriendly front desk person has clearly dealt with countless disappointed parents and, with no shred of helpfulness, informed us that the pool had been out of order since the remodel last year. Otherwise, the hotel is in a desolate part of town, across from a target parking lot, with nothing else to offer.

Good typical Fairfield inn, comfortable beds, clean room and public areas. BUT!! Even after asking, no operating pool. Yes, they do have a pool, however it is empty and being worked on. Would have been nice for them to disclose. Otherwise. Good nights stay

I use a wheelchair full-time, and an ADA room with a roll-in shower is essential for my stay. My daughter made the hotel reservation and twice called the hotel to confirm that I would receive an ADA room with a ROLL IN SHOWER. Instead I was given the room in the picture. Baffling and totally useless. The reservation girl was behin the counter when we checked in. She offered a discount or finding us a room in aother hotel, but that doesn’t fix the problem. While the room may have filled the legal of an ADA room, it’s non-functional and that should be explained before reservations are made. Both the front desk workers and the manager need to receive education, when a customer asks for a roll-in shower room, its because its NECESSARY, not a luxury item. Please, support those with mobility needs and DO NOT rent a room here until the problem is satisfied…and let the management know why. Thank you

This is a complete bait and switch type of scam. I will never book or stay here again. We made our reservations 4 weeks in advance because we knew my high school son was going to be playing basketball at a local tournament. We arrive at the day of our reservation at 7pm just to be told the whole damn hotel has been under renovations for over a year and EVERYTHING IS CLOSED (pool, breakfast area, most of the lobby). To add insult to injury, the key system “fried”, so each time you come in the hotel you wait your turn at the lobby (15 mins) for the front desk staff to walk you and open you room for you. *** I asked why I want told earlier by email or anything, they said it was posted on their site/app which is another scam. I have the Marriott app and it’s what I used to book. Nothing about a remodel there. I asked what my options are and was told that they can transfer me to a local motel (very cheap) at the same rate. I looked up these motels on my phone and they were 1/2 what I paid for my room. It’s a scam operation in progress. There was no manager at the hotel. I got their phone numbers and called two managers and nobody cares to respond. Of course they’re going to respond to this review by apologizing and saying sorry I was disappointed. F odd. You know exactly what you’re doing and it’s not a legit business. I am calling Marriott HQ I watch 10 other people check in with the same frustration. The front desk girls have a script that they repeat to all customers and they can’t give a shiiit
