Cesca's Boutique Hotel

Lovely small boutique hotel . Easy walking distance to Xlendi and to Rabat. Breakfast very good (but wish they had granola) Nice rooftop pool with scenic views. Comfortable rooms with plenty of space. Would defintely recommend as a great quiet hotel for Gozo.

We had a 4 day stay at this small boutique hotel. The room was beautiful and looked out onto the countryside. It was spotless. My only criticism would be that the hairdryer was one of those attached to the wall and very slow, as a lady I would have preferred the table to have a mirror and plug. As others have said, a kettle in the room would have been most welcome. Having said that, it did not detract from our stay, the beautiful sun bed towels, tasty breakfasts, gorgeous roof top chairs and pool. Also the staff are very accommodating. The hotel is about a 10/12 min downhill walk to Xlendi, a small resort by the sea with a lovely selection of restaurants.

I stayed at this wonderful hotel as i was solo travelling across Malta and i so glad i did! From the rooms, to the rooftop pool, to the staff ( especially Grace at the front desk! Who i cannot thank enough for making me feel so welcome throughout my stay, truly a gem) this hotel is 10/10 and a must if you are staying in Gozo

Beautiful restored building with an authentic charm and a great location near the trendy waterfront of Xlendi. Rooms are super clean and spacious. Bed was extremely comfortable and showers with real high pressure hot water. Pool area a great place to chill and gaze at the view of nearby cliffs. Breakfast buffet was simple but a la carte eggs very tasty and great coffee. The best part of my 3 night stay was the extremely helpful and accommodating front desk who helped me with all my requests. Will definitely stay here again on my next diving holiday!

The staff at this charming hotel were outstanding. They were friendly and accommodating but still very professional. We had an issue, not related to the hotel, they did their best to help us and it was very much appreciated. The hotel itself is lovely, very spacious room, excellent bathroom with a large walk in shower which we loved, the bathroom is always the one I find fault with, even in much more expensive five star hotels in Europe, but this was delightful. You will not regret staying here, enjoy!

We stayed at this boutique hotel for a few nights in July. Although it is beautifully renovated with nice views from the rooms over a deep gorge, there are a few issues that have to be addressed before they can consider themselves a true luxury hotel. It was hot when we were in Gozo but the air conditioning was not able to keep the rooms cooler than 23/24 degrees. The manager blamed it on the heatwave but we had stayed at two other hotels in Malta and Gozo during our trip and the air conditioning was great in both of the other hotels. As well, the beautifully decorated lobby and reading room could not be enjoyed as it was not air conditioned either (we never saw one guest relaxing in these areas, making the hotel feel empty). The breakfast was a real letdown as well, with the small buffet not only limited in choice but in quality as well. Even the special order items from the menu were average at best and, although breakfast was included, they wanted 3.50 Euros for fresh orange juice. The biggest disappointment, however, was having their guests make their own coffee using a small, pod coffee machine at the breakfast buffet, even though they had staff working at breakfast with a professional espresso machine in the bar area located in the breakfast room. Totally unacceptable. The rooms were nicely furnished and elegant and the balcony was a nice touch (should be lit, however). The rooftop pool is small but it does allow one to enjoy some relaxation after a day of sightseeing or boating and drinks could be ordered from a rooftop bar as well. This hotel has potential and it wouldn’t take much for it to become a true luxury four star hotel.
