Tanyi Hotel (Xiamen Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street Ferry Terminal)

Pros: Very clean and modern rooms Friendly and helpful staff Great location near Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street Comfortable beds Cons: difficult to find the first time occasional outside noise.

The hotel is located very close to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian street. Hotel is inside a mall. The hotel staff is very courteous and helpful. They helped us figure out how to book reservation with Nanputuo Temple. There are many small local restaurants near the hotel. Hotel breakfast buffet has great selection.

This hotel is inside a old shopping mall. Rooms are on the same level as the restaurant so there's a heavy smell of food along the corridor. Some rooms does not comes with window so remember to book one with windows although no good view even thought got window. lol...front desk service is good. Good thing is super convenient, zhongshanlu is just at the door step of the mall.

Don't be fooled by the appearance of the building on the website. It is not the hotel. The hotel is located inside that building that looks nice on the outside but is practically deserted inside. You'd have to lug your luggage into the hotel as there's no proper drop off at the building. Service was good. Room was spacious, and aircond worked well. Breakfast was decent. Bed was comfortable. However the toilet reeked on very strong urine smell. There were also cockroach in my room. I left after two nights and cancelled my remaining stay.

The hotel is very new. Location is great, very closed to Zhongshan Street. Breakfast can be improved

The hotel is conveniently located near Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, surrounded by many eateries and close to tourist hotspots, which makes getting food and shopping very easy. However, the hotel is situated inside an old building that houses multiple hotels on different floors. The building itself feels quite old, and returning to the hotel at night can feel a bit unsettling and scary. The room size is just nice and comfortable for two people, and overall it meets basic accommodation needs. That said, considering the price, I feel there are better hotel options available in Xiamen with newer facilities and a more pleasant environment. Overall, the location is the main advantage, but I personally would not choose this hotel again in the future.

It was good, except for the fact that doesnt have view for the city as it states to have it.
