I had never seen a 9.6 rating for a motel on ******* so I was nervous when I booked this. I am admittedly picky when it comes to booking rooms and older properties usually disappoint me but not this time. I have never been so pleasantly surprised. Check in was so easy, the office smelled fresh and clean and our suite was exactly as pictured which almost never happens. This property is so well maintained and clean and you can tell the owners and staff care. The suite is updated, has great space, asthetically pleasing decor and the view is amazing. I will absolutely stay here again. This motel rates as one of the best beach properties I have stayed in and I travel alot. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

My husband and I stayed midweek at Surf Suites. I have to say it was a wonderful stay. We were in room 308 and it was exactly how it was pictured online. The hands down best part was the view from the balcony. But there's honestly not one thing I can complain about at the hotel. The bedroom was spacious with plenty of storage. The pool area was clean with plenty of seating. I would suggest for a great view 3rd and 4th floor are probably best. I will mention that the beach in general was not busy on Tuesday or Wednesday but people did seem to pour in Thursday. So if you like smaller crowds I'd say maybe Monday-Wednesday is less crowded.

At over $300 a night you'd expect yhat the kitchen woukd be stocked with a simple thing like a cookie sheet or baking dishes. At $300 a night maybe toilt paper that is one step away from sand paper. At over $300 a night how about towels or a bathroom at the pool? Maybe some drinking water out there? For $300 a night how about a welcome bottle of water or forget that, how about just smile? Except for one of the cleaning crew (Kim), the staff has all the charm of Soviet prison guards.

The property and our room had everything we expected. We even had a maintenance need with something we brought for the beach and the staff was able to help us with a solution for that! We will definitely return.

We would stay here again. King bed was comfortable and pull out sofa was enough for our daughter . Quiet- easy to park and access rooms as the property is not
Huge. Helpful housekeeping gave new towels etc Kitchen did not have many pots - was ok as we were not planning to cook - would have been somewhat difficult. Al in all - great stay !

This has been a wonderful place to stay. The suite was clean and very nicely furnished with everything we needed for a perfectly enjoyable vacation. The staff were great and graciously honored our request for a top floor unit; the ocean view was spectacular, and we spent a lot of time relaxing on the balcony watching the changing seascape below. We also enjoyed the convenience of having a full kitchen, a generously sized table/workspace, and comfortable couch, chairs, and bed. We could not be more pleased with the whole experience here, and we will definitely be back!
