Travelodge Worthing Seafront

Basic and no frills hotel in a prime location on Worthing seafront. I chose as it’s great value and the location could not be better. The place really could do with a refurb, that said, the staff are just fantastic. Such a warm welcome and everyone I encountered is so happy, helpful and engaging. So lovely, especially when travelling alone. Great budget stay and the people made all the difference.

No hot water. Building works are being undertaken and I would not have stayed if I knew before.

Superb location on the seafront in Worthing, close to the town centre too A Lovely room, Everything was clean and tidy except for the windows, I know the sea air makes them foggy and grubby , but they were really bad , especially as this is a ‘ sea view ‘ room. The staff were nice and pleasant as always. Very nice to be able to use the free car park at the back , there are only a few spaces and it’s a first come, first serve basis. Two points , the decor in travelodge is dull and dingy , dark blue and grey makes the atmosphere feel cold and the rooms look smaller . And the WiFi …. Free for half an hour only ?, what’s that about ? Premier Inn give free wifi though out your stay.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. All the staff we met were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and at £10 was very reasonable. Our room had a sea view and the hotel was located only a few minutes from the town centre and shops. Also only 5 minutes to the Hare and Hounds traditional pub.

Small poky room, smoke alarm lights directly over the small, almost miniscule, bed were blinking brightly every few seconds all night long. Noise from the pedestrian crossing was annoying. Scruffy room and common areas. Great staff.

We had a thoroughly good time the hotel is in a perfect location,and if your lucky there is free parking out the back of the hotel ..The staff take care of you and do everything they can to make you feel relaxed and welcome

The staff were so friendly, kind and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Room was lovely, bed so comfortable, clean room and bathroom. Will definitely recommend to anybody thinking of visiting worthing. Will be back very soon.
