We caught the IOW ferry from Portsmouth on the 8th April at 6pm and thought that we would round of the evening with a nice meal at the Fishbourne - little did we now this would spoil the whole evening - we arrived at just after 6.45pm having booked a table. At 8pm we left the premises having waited for an hour and a quarter for the meal. The staff did not even communicate with us until we asked at 7.45pm where the meal was to be told we are doing our best. A table of six people also left without eating. I have contacted The Fishbourne about this incident and they have not had the decency to reply. We have visited the Fishbourne many time as we visit the IOW regularly, but I can assure you this is the last time. It would have been nice to have received an apology from The Fishbourne the day after the event as they had my wifes email for the booking, but up today we have had no apology or reply to my email - very poor customer care and a another very disgruntled customer
