Nightcap at Finsbury Hotel

The room was stay able, there was no restaurant menu to order food from as advertised was only a bar menu, the location was in a very rough neighbourhood and we felt unsafe to stay there and we were worried about the security of our vehicle whilst parked in the car park, we put our bags in the room and went downstairs to be told we couldn’t eat there so we walked down the road to a restaurant recommended by the hotel and it was awful, when we got back we asked the staff for a refund which they advised that was beyond there delegation, spoke with Wotif and they spoke to the venue and they refused our refund so overall a disgusting experience which ruined the beginning of our holiday.

Tried to book a room at the pub and was given three different prices within about two hours which I thought was quite strange but when I got there and had a look at the "establishment" I was not disappointed. Very interesting place ? Appeared to be nothing like the online pics and more like a very down market den. Having said that, if that's your thing and you can get a room for a very affordable price then good on ya.
