Inn at the Forks

A pleasant stay. Great room and location.

酒店非常乾淨整潔，裝修也比較現代。位置絕對是最佳，晚上週圍很熱鬧，也非常安全。正對人權博物館，景色一流。停車位很充足，衹是價格稍貴。唯一的缺點是沒有游泳池。

Very pleased with hotel after leaving another one in Winnipeg that was not good. First of all the rooms are perfect, clean, mattress was very comfy. I was very happy to have an elevator that could only be used with a card as I as a solo female traveller. Would stay here again and the restaurant was excellent!

We opted for a staycation during the holiday (Dec 24-25) but were disappointed to find out that the hotel's restaurant and spa were closed during our stay. We were unaware of this during booking, we felt stuck in our room with nothing to do and nowhere to go since the forks market was also closed. We were not provided with hotel amenity kits or even room slippers.

A great hotel and great location. Friendly staff. Really like the restaurant downstairs!! All fabulous! My teenaged boys were able to play ping pong at the forks. They were able to go exploring for food and shops at the Forks. Will definitely return in the future.

Comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. The meeting rooms were modern, large TV for viewing presentations rather than using a projector. The bed was comfortable, large rooms with shower and tub. The only thing is there are not many restaurants near by, just the one downstairs and the old spaghetti factory across the street.

Overall great hotel. A couple things could be improved. It's syrange that they charge extra per night for a king size bed. I've never seen this elsewhere. My full size bed was comfy. The shampoo and conditioner are awful and leave an oily residue in your hair. Yuck.

We got a great deal on room rates and we were lucky to have it on a busy summer. We booked this because of its location inside The Forks and that it’s pet friendly. Our booking includes parking. Comfy beds, clean room, nice views, great service. Shoutout to Sahil!

We checked into the Inn at the Forks for 23 to 26 December having stayed two nights earlier in an airport hotel, We chose the Inn at the Forks because of the recommendations here on Tripadvisor and because its location meant we could tour local facilities easily. Sadly, we were disappointed by our experience. The room was adequate (but not by any means luxurious). However, we were very surprised to discover upon check in that the restaurant was closed and that no plans were in place to help residents to eat except to refer them to restaurants in a nearby mall! By contrast with the airport hotel which emailed us twice with updates prior to arrival (and which never closed its restaurant), the Inn on the Forks did not contact us at all to advise that there was no food available at the hotel and that the neighbouring mall was closed on Christmas day. Luckily our relatives were able to assist, otherwise we would have had nowhere to eat on 25 December. When we discovered the problems upon arrival, we advised the check in desk that we wanted to register our annoyance with the manager. After all, the provision of food is an essential role of a hotel. Our concerns were registered, and the next day again we asked if the manager had received them. We were told that person had but that no decision had been made. When we checked out on Boxing Day, we asked again if the manager had received our complaint. The receptionists could see that we have made the complaint but clearly the manager had not responded. They took it upon themselves to refund a very small portion ($40) of our bill, but we remain very disappointed that the manager did not bother to answer our concerns. We have stayed in quality hotels around the world and have never experienced such a failure of leadership in any hotel rated as top ten in any city. Dealing effectively with a customer concern is a primary responsibility in the hospitality industry. If we had received even a note or phone call of apology from the management, it is unlikely we would have submitted this review. We will not bother to see if it has improved in the future. A reply here is too little, too late.
