Located across from the Decorah fish hatchery and bike trail, you will enjoy a beautiful scenic getaway while still being within approx. 2 miles from downtown Decorah. Enjoy exploring the waterfall and fish at the hatchery, fishing in the trout stream or taking a stroll along the bike trail. You might even spot a Decorah eagle! Updated house features a large living room plus family room for you to spread out and enjoy yourselves. There is a TV in each of those rooms along with WIFI. Large eat-in kitchen with coffee bar is stocked with all necessary items for you to cook during your stay. Don't want to pack a lot? There is a full laundry room for your use. Enjoy summer evenings out on the 3 seasons porch grilling and relaxing. Large spacious yard is great for the kids to play in as well as the adults. Decorah Wedding My family, ranging in age from 54-94, stayed at the property while we were in Decorah for a wedding.The place was spacious and fit all of us comfortably.We had a problem with the WiFi and the owner was in constant communication and even came to the house to remedy the situation.He was very friendly and we had everything that we needed to have a wonderful time, which we did.If I’m ever out there again, I’ll be sure to look up this place again.Everyone raved about the accommodations and the amenities.Definitely give this place a try if you’re ever heading this way.

Cute and Comfortable Getaway We enjoyed everything about our stay. The house was clean with great hangout spaces and ample sleeping options for our family. The location was great too. We would definitely return!

Trout run road Enjoyed our time in Decorah. Lots of hiking fishing and shopping. Mark’s house was a great home base for 6 of us. Plenty of beds and room. Screened in deck with a stream in the back yard was great. Location to the bike trail and trout hatchery were a big plus for us.

This house was super comfy!! The house was very well equipped, I.e., kitchen, bedding, and toiletries!! We all loved the screened porch. The decor throughout the house was beautiful. The location and area was perfect for us! Our host was super nice and helpful. Would highly recommend!!👍
