Crowne Plaza READING by IHG

We stayed for my partners birthday, the hotel was lovely very clean and incredible interior. The staff were all very lovely and we enjoyed the breakfast in the morning.

Unfortunately we did not stay at the crown plaza as my husband who has cancer and had chemo on the day we were supposed to travel was very poorly so we cancelled.  The Hotel wouldn’t reimburse us the £152 and trip .com said they would try to , but asked for documentation like medical certificate and bills and start and end when Dr wanted him to rest all of which we do not have . We have stayed at the crown plaza countless times over the past 5years and always found it clean and tidy Generally the staff are friendly and most importantly to us convenient for travelling to London . Because of lack of empathy for our situation we will think hard about booking there again .

I recently stayed at Crowne Plaza Reading by IHG and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel was clean, modern, and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms that made it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any requests. I particularly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the convenient location, which made getting around simple. The breakfast offered a good variety of options and was well presented. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable stay, and I would definitely consider returning or recommending it to others visiting the area.

Great as always, breakfast delicious, huge gym and pool, free parking is a bonus

I love the location, receptionists are always friendly and courteous. The rooms a and bathrooms are clean and tidy. However the pillow cover under the very clean pillow case in one of the rooms I stayed in had hair on all of them! Not sure why but something needs to be done about it as it caused hives for me. I was moved to another room and had a great sleep afterwards.

Amazing hotel, a short distance from Nivarna Spa. Would definitely recommend

We used the spa facilities which were pleasant and clean. Outstanding service and we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Nice hotel, nice rooms. Clean, good amenities. Breakfast was below standard, overcooked bacon, sausages, coffee machine out of order, therefore as breakfast was a let down below expectation for Crowne Plaza.

Great place to stay to chill out
