Room was clean but two things ruined it. They advertised they had wireless but was impossible to stay connected and the cell reception (Verizon) was also weak so I couldn’t hot spot my phone . I had taken a shower earlier and left the bath mat down. When I went back in a couple of hours later the mat was covered in ants. So we had to get everything off the floor so it wouldn’t get infested and pretty well ruined the evening. I can’t recommend the hotel. I did report it to the clerk at check out so hopefully it can be mitigated. I do recommend the restaurant the food was great

We were headed to Reno, Nevada and had decided to stop there for lunch before heading on. Restaurant and restrooms are very clean. There were 8 of us in our party and not many others in the restaurant. I ordered with everyone else but my order was delivered after most had eaten. I ordered nachos, took a long time and when I received it the meat was burned and dried out. Would definitely NOT recommend the nachos.

A very cool blast from the past style hotel. While not as flashy as many, the sense of Nevada history in this place is authentic and palpable. While someone's review said it needed updating, I believe they struck a balance between historical and modern. Rooms were comfortable, bedding good, tastefully decorated, surely no complaints there... Restaurant was a Great Value and the food was well prepared and cooked exactly as I asked. Bar was well stocked and had several large screens. Wait staff hussled and I never wanted for anything. The only issue is that as far as I know they do not have an elevator. Please correct me if i am wrong. Being a historical hotel that might be an out for them, but if you are hauling a lot of luggage that may be an issue. Take some time to enjoy the historical photos that line the hallways that allow you a wonderful glimpse into an Era our parents or grandparents might have enjoyed. A time where this place was a Nevada landmark and a gathering place for folks from far and wide. Don't look at the older style and trim as antiquated, but embrace it as a view into another time, where post war America was booming and opportunities were as limitless as the seemingly endless horizon. Dream a little about how the folks in those photos enjoyed a life and times with V8 engines and a convertible top down, of luxurious pullman cars on the railroad and relaxing by the pool in a one piece and marveling at all life had to offer. If you want glitz and flash stay somewhere else. If you like value, good food and service, with a little dose of history, this IS your place.

The room was clean and adequate. It's an older hotel that could use some updating and remodeling. The hotel has no elevator. The ground floor ****** and restaurant were very good. I think the ****** has the only table games in Winnemucca.

The hotel was ok. But we booked through a site with the initials R.C., which is a scummy reservation company where many reviews say it is impossible to get a refund. We had to cancel, called Winners to refund our credit card, and they said they would refund the full amount. No refund was issued. If you take bookings through R.C., then at least be honest and say you can't guarantee a refund, when you probably know R.C. will very rarely issue a refund.

Check-in was very quick and easy. For $99 a night we felt like we got a really good value. Our room, although very small, was super clean. The Linens and towels are clean and white. It was quiet, even though our neighbors had small children. And the restaurant downstairs had the best steak and eggs for only $8.95. Our waitress Becca was the best!! We will stay again next time we are in Winnemucca.

We were traveling with our grand kids so could only go in the restaurant. The food was great with large portions and our server Becca was fantastic. Our grand son got fish and chips and my wife and I got the steak and eggs which also came with home fries for only $8.95. Our grand daughter got the kids breakfast that included a large scrambled egg, bacon, french fries, and a piece of french toast which was more than she could eat.
