Olive Grove Guesthouse

Firstly, the venue is beautiful, and the food was very good. The only disappoint, was the mattress that is in a bad state, and thus, we did not have a good rest at all. Please change, because it is not worth the money you pay.

We were certainly here for the fourth time. We enjoy the calm and comfortable place. The Lodge personal is very friendly and always ready to assist. The food and especially the breakfast are always excellent.

Rooms are spacious and very clean. AC is excellent Staff is friendly helpful and very polite We had dinner here and it was FANTASTIC. Everything was so delicious and cooked perfectly and the server Elizabeth was gracious and efficient RECOMMEND highly

Olive Grove was the first stop we had booked for a long trip around Namibia. After a long journey from the UK, it's convenient location and warm welcome were very much appreciated. It is considered to be an upmarket guest house, and on our experience, it certainly justifies this. Our room was spacious, delightfully furnished in a simple and minimalist style but very comfortable indeed. The bathroom was large, slightly set down from the bedroom, and was just excellent. We had booked to eat out, but having arrived later than planned, missed our reservation so elected to eat at Olive Grove. We were very glad to have done so, as the menu, food and service were all first-class and it was so relaxing enjoying our first meal in country on their large veranda adjoining the tranquil and fragrant garden with the sound of bird song. Breakfast was also superb, again on the veranda, with a number of speciality omelettes cooked to order. The guest house has a small but nicely styled inside lounge with a fireplace, and an outside plunge pool. Everything here is designed to relax the guest (with secure car parking for peace of mind). and throughout the staff were just excellent. We very much enjoyed our single-night stay here, and recommend it most highly.

We had a wonderful stay in this comfortable and lovely furnished. We appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. The staff is absolutely outstanding.

Personnel charmant, c’est propre, beau et il y a un parking sécurisé. La chambre est très spacieuse et confortable avec une très bonne literie. La nourriture est excellente mais seul point négatif la piscine est très petite et l’extérieur est un peu petit.

We are a family of 4 with two older teenagers and stayed our first night at the Olive Grove Guesthouse in Windhoek before venturing out into the vast areas of Namibia. This place was great! Very friendly staff, nice rooms and a good location. The best part of the stay though was the food! If you can, stay for the evening meal. Food is freshly prepared in the kitchen just behind the dining tables and it’s delicious! The following morning, breakfast was equally good and so we started our tour of Namibia in style!! Thank you, Elizabeth and her staff, for making us so welcome and for looking after us so well. I hope we can return one day!

This was a very relaxing and comfortable over-night stay conveniently located from the airport. STAFF: Elizabeth greeted and served us lunch; Vanessa served us dinner; chefs were very pleasant and prepared delicious meals; breakfast server gave us blankets to keep us warm. This is where we had our first (only) taste of Namibian food! An appetizer – a fried pastry to be dipped in grated spicy cheese sprinkles.

Stayed at this Guest House for our first night in Namibia. It is a small property but has a cosy feel to it and the staff are very friendly. Rooms were a good size with a very large bathroom. The guest house is not too far from the centre of Windhoek so the city centre is well accessible. We didn’t choose to have dinner at the guest house but breakfast was excellent - you got to choose from a variety of different breakfasts and the kitchen was open so you could see it being made which is always great to see. The Namibian breakfast was fantastic. Overall this is a great little establishment. It is definitely worth visiting if you are beginning your journey around Namibia in Windhoek and the staff are all super!!
