Rylands Farm Guest House

I found Rylands Farm Guest House on an internet search for somewhere to stay close to Manchester Airport. It took a couple of tries to get hold of them on the phone number given but when I did I was able to ask about rooms and prices and booked over the phone. You get an email before you travel with instructions to help find your room and a key code to gain entry. There wasn't a member of staff available after we arrived but there is a number to ring if you have any security related issues. We were a family party of four adults so we stayed in one of their cottages which had double and single bed downstairs and another single and the shower/toilet upstairs. The room was clean with tea and coffee making facilities, we couldn't get the TV to find a channel we wanted but we are not familiar with Sky remote control. The breakfast (which was included in the price) was great and served by friendly, helpful people. Would definitely stay again if we needed somewhere to stop over before a flight from Manchester. The stay cost us £120 for four adults and included breakfast - good value at £30 per head.

Is this guesthouse still in operation does anyone know? Not stayed here yet... Trying to make contact by phone and website enquiry and email. No response at all?!😳 Can anyone shine any light? Hopefully the owners will see this and respond?

Les logements sont séparés sous forme de petits chalets en briques. Ils sont hyper chaleureux et cosys. Les lits sont très confortables et la salle de bain était impeccablement propre. Nous avons rencontré le propriétaire le matin, dans une magnifique véranda qui donne sur la campagne. Le propriétaire est super sympa et nous a servi un authentique petit-déjeuner anglais. Nous aurions adoré rester dans ce logement pour le reste du séjour. Malheureusement, la ferme n'est pas idéalement située par rapport à Manchester. L'endroit est parfait si vous désirez visiter les alentours de la ville et les parcs naturels de la région.

This is located near Manchester Airport so you can see planes landing and taking off when you are sat in the garden. That was a plus point to us- things returning to normal. We parked up and went to our room. All accessed from the outside via a pad that you input your code on to open the door. The room was not over large but very high quality in terms of fixtures and furnishings. The TV was perhaps a little too high spec needing 2 remotes and almost baffling someone like me! The bathroom had a shower rather than a bath but was again top quality. It's dog friendly- which is why we booked it. We had a good night's sleep. The next morning we went to the conservatory for breakfast to learn that dogs were not allowed in there. We had just begun our coffee when a staff member told us one of the Pods was now available. And dogs are allowed. So we went up to an end pod. Excellent- speakers and heating. Furs on the seats. The person serving was very friendly. Breakfast took a while to appear but we were in no hurry. And when it did arrive it was an excellent Full English. Top quality and a great start to the day. Recommended.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! Clean and modern, great location too! It is quite hard to find hotel rooms for a family of five but this was ideal for a stay before flying from Manchester airport. Would definitely book this again and recommend to others.

What an absolute find. Close to Manchester Airport but not noisy. This place is really lovely. Has everything you need for a nights stop before a flight. Fantastic breakfast with really friendly staff. Recommend this place 100% The honey Bee pub is a 5 minute walk and sells nice pub food
