I picked this hotel because of the proximity to the college. And also, I got some kind of discount through the YOGA alliance. The hotel is under construction, and you can get by all that. The front desk was extremely friendly, efficient and fantastic, despite have compromise, she was. The room was great except they were obvious food stains on the desk that you could wipe away yourself. The same with the area around the bathroom sink which was a little gross when I put my hand down it’s like they change the sheets, folded the toilet paper, and vacuumed and didn’t wipe down much of anything else, this day and age you want the desk and the area around the sink to be somewhat sanitized, right? I passed this information along. And I can get by all that, for one night. I’m not quite sure, if it was because I had a room with a connecting door, but the TV next-door was on all night, and felt like it was in my room. As I tossed and turned, listening to the TV next-door all night I also heard the people in there snoring. The walls in this place are paper thin. You can hear people coughing in the next room. And of course by 730am there are people drilling and doing construction on the floor below me. It may be better once the remodels done, but right now, an extremely noisy night sleep, especially with Guests in the rooms on either side. Seems like they’re only renting the fifth floor. Needs some sound proofing for privacy.
