Once again outstanding nice food nice to see you change the bar menu excellent choices all staff are great and they always saying nice to see you both again nice wine room was great we where upgraded had a great weather was nice had nice coffee in the spar great one day

Myself and daughter stayed in room 19 which was a top notch room , before coming i did email the hotel about wanting a bigger bath and to be in the main hotel , which i was told all top notch rooms are and all have amazing baths , i was slightly disappointed on a few things if im honest . . I expected a very large bath and room in the main building and got ,yes a biggish room , not overly big bathroom and its almost in the outer part of the building. The room had a complimentary mini bar and coffee etc Plenty of up to date magazines which were a very nice touch, also temple spa products to use which again was lovely The bed wasn't as big as expected but super comfy . I would recommend that room if you have a pet and plan to do alot of walking etc , we were mainly here for the spa . Now the spa .... Its very very small and far too many chairs crammed together,which was not relaxing in the slightest. I found the area untidy and very stuffy .the outside hot tub was very busy and the fire pit which was advertised on countless of sites was not working. Drinks you can have from the spa cafe were only available in plastic beaker not good when ordering wine . Maybe upgrade to wine plastic glasses to make it more luxurious feel to match the price tag. The spa facilities and changing room were good but again more than 8 feels crowded . Im very into my spa hotels and unfortunately will not recommend as a spa day or stay . The hotel was well finished, friendly, food was good and breakfast very good .if looking for good furnishings, friendly staff and a hotel with a pool this is for you .but not for a relaxing spa stay .

Second time visit and we are already planning when we can stay for a third. The Dormy team of dedicated staff maintained the exceptional standards we were impressed with the first time we came. From the point of arrival, the staff were, yet again, efficient, friendly and welcoming. The restaurant staff are great fun and make you feel so well looked after. The young male waiter in the restaurant is so friendly and polite, we loved being served by him. One of the spa therapists, Meg, who gave me my wonderful full body massage was so kind and provided me with helpful tips to help alleviate stress going forward. Meg was so skilled in her profession and handled the music switch up during the treatment so well. The ambiance of the therapy room felt so peaceful and calming. The hotel thinks of everything from the fragrance around the hotel, especially throughout the spa, to the welcome candle we received as a nod to Valentine’s Day. The spa staff are always on hand to sweep up left over towels, and free up space for you to relax. They’re dedicated and highly professional and clearly have high standards throughout the whole day. That level of dedication and care to maintain the high standards around the pool and in the changing rooms, has to be celebrated. The whole hotel is so clean (despite welcoming dogs), well cared for and kept looking smart which is rare to find. It is also pretty special to see familiar staff we met a year ago, still there, a possible reflection of a successful professional team who enjoy working together. It feels like going home but to one of the most luxurious homes we’ve found in a hotel. It is well and truly our happy escape and tradition. We can’t wait to come back to relax yet again. Thank you to all the staff who work so hard to keep it at this incredible standard. It is much appreciated when all you need is headspace and time out. Don’t change a thing! Everything you’re doing works impeccably well!

My wife and I had a one night stay and it was lovely. The setting, the feel as you walk in, the layout, the decor and the service is all wonderful. The intimate room we had was small, cosy but luxurious. The spa was incredibly tranquil and we made use of all of the wonderful facilities. And the breakfast was a wonderful way to start the next day with all that was on offer. The one constructive criticism that we have is the lunch and dinner menus - whilst the dishes we had were very nice and well cooked, we felt the lunch menu was slightly random and should have offered more choice and more nutritional options (instead of sausage roll, sandwiches and pizza). The dinner menu disappointed slightly as well as two of the meat dishes were chicken kiev and and pork and only offered chips as a side. The only alternative was steak (which again was served with chips). I feel if they tweaked the menus slightly it would go up a level. We had a wonderful stay and will visit again but we did think we would have struggled to pick dishes at lunch and dinner if we had stayed a 2nd night.

This is mine and my husbands 3rd stay at Dormy House, it is an incredibly beautiful, well designed hotel. The lounges, bar, restaurant and rooms are beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and the grounds are very well maintained. The spa is peaceful, spotlessly clean and has everything you require from a sauna, steam room, snow shower and jacuzzi. The gym is also very well equipped and maintained. The food served in all areas is delicious, you cannot leave here without having a cream tea, their scones are the BEST. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, and the check in process is seamless, just what you need when you want to start your holiday early with a spot of lunch prior to check in. This being our 3rd stay we were a little disappointment with some of the service during our 3 nights away compared to previous visits, however, Stephen was very receptive of the feedback which is much appreciated. We hope to visit again later in the year.

We visited Dormy House for a Birthday Lunch at The Shed. My Family had stayed at the Hotel recently and were very impressed. They were absolutely right. Beautiful setting , nestling among the woods on the Hill above Broadway. Cosy and warm on a cold Winters day as we entered the Hotel due to the lovely Log Fire. The premises and Toilets are immaculate , really classy , you can see that considerable investment has been made. We were shown to our Table and served by Joanne who was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The Shed is an ideal , Bar restaurant, but I’d always book to ensure a table. We just had Mains and a Dessert. Mrs T had a Caesar Salad , really fab , best one I’ve tasted ( I was allowed some!) I had a good Steak. The Dessert again really stood out . Yummy Crème Brûlée with a stunning Sorbet , excellent. Will definitely return, a great example of style with a relaxing vibe.
