Nassau Inn

Nice place to stay for a of couple nights in wildwood crest. Some of the front disk staff could’ve been kinder. The rooms are dated but that’s expected. On our last day one of the room next to us must’ve been smoking and it was awful, and the old guy at the front said “we can make the rules, but we can’t make the guest follow them”. Pool area was nice and it’s right near the beach.

Everyone is super nice that work there . The beds can be update kind uncomfortable but made though about 6 hours sleep . Pool water was warm also you can BBQ .. if you got a pick up truck try get a Corner spot it kind tight. Well i go back yes

Check in’s are at 3 PM. If you have arrive early, you’re not allowed to park on the hotel property despite checking in early. Ineffective!

Advertised a heated salt water pool. The pool most definitely wasn’t heated and I am fairly certain it was chlorine as it burned my skin and eyes. Price was high for it being out of season. Many places to stay that have a way better offering. I heard good things from friends but will skip this place next time.

The room I was staying in, 307, was disgusting. The rugs are from the 1970's along with the couch. There was no way I was going to walk on the rugs without socks on or sit on that couch without putting a cover on it first. Even worse, the shelves in the refrigerator were rusty: so unsanitary. I didn't stay around long enough to see how the service was, but when I informed the person at the front desk how i felt and that I didn't even want to stay for a night all he did was put his hand out and say, "keys." There was no care to ask what the problem was or how it could be remedied.

It’s sad what’s happening to the Wildwoods. I hope the new owners are glad they took advantage of us one last time! My family has been coming to the Nassau for 25+ years. This year was the last. The Nassau has lost everything that it was. I remember Pat and her wonderful family and of course the amazing dogs in the office. And treats and games for the kids. My pop even remembers the pool table! We have had the same units for years, but this year we were moved to old, dingey, and nasty rooms. The new office staff had no explanation other than “we had to move you to accommodate others.” Funny that the price was $40/night more this year for crappier rooms! Not only that but the same day we checked in one of my family members booked online for 1/2 the price!! And guest what! They got a better, nicer, and updated room. Still charged a surprise fee though! Since we book every year we were asked about next year. I asked how much it would be and the desk guy couldn’t give a price but the lady said the new owners will decide on an increased price sometime before the end of the year! I laughed so damn hard! Between the added fees, ridiculous prices, and the fact that we are just going to be thrown in any nasty room we are not coming back. We already booked next year down the street for a much lower price. I’m sure the Nassau will increase their price another $40 a night.

Best ocean view from our balcony. Room 406 was so clean and was decorated with adorable beach decor. All conveniences were here for us at this beach front condo Close to restaurants and shops But walking to the beach which is seconds away is the best perk! Will visit again!

booked our stay at Nassau Inn through Airbnb, and the experience was frustrating from the start. The unit we received was completely different from the one listed. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t been updated since the 1950s, and bizarrely, there was a leather couch in the unit—at a beach rental! A leather couch at the beach makes no sense especially in the heat and humidity. We were sticking to it the whole time, making it uncomfortable and honestly unpleasant to relax on. It felt like they hadn’t thought about the basics of making a beach rental functional or comfortable.

Our family rented five different units at the Nassau Inn for a vacation, and the experience was far from consistent. Each unit was drastically different in terms of paint, bed sizes, decor, cleanliness, and amenities, but oddly enough, the most dated unit ended up being the most expensive! Bathrooms were mixed of old, some new tile, some basic shower stalls, and some had towel hooks, racks and shelves while others were plain. Weird experience because it wasn’t as off the bad was really bad, it was just a mix. Staff explained that units are individually owned. This made sense, but the units are drastically different, and the price made no sense since even the older units were priced higher than what I would call somewhat modern.
