Warrawong on the Darling

Wonderfully surprised. Huge shower rooms. Friendly staff. Absolutely beautiful location. We only stayed the one night but wish we’d stayed longer. Were pleasantly surprised by the size of the place 1700acres to explore via map brings you across some stunning scenery. Everything you need to restock from Reception. Gallery showcasing resident artist. The butcher even popped in. The Darling River is a gem.

What a pleasant surprise to discover this place on our way to Broken Hill. Rustic in appearance but ticking all the boxes. Management very friendly from first contact and very helpful. Amenities were modern and clean and there was even green grass!!! Its a great place to stay for a day or two just to relax, repack the van, do a bit of tidying up and travel on. Highly recommend staying here.

Stayed here for one night in a powered campsite. The site was next to the water. The sites were impeccably maintained. The Toilets & Showers were exceptionally clean and well maintained. Reception check in was a breeze and at 5:30pm the hosts light the fire pit and invite everyone to join them for nibbles. I recommend that everyone should stop here if they get the opportunity.

Absolutely beautiful location. The property offers great drives along the Darling river where you will see river red gums over 500 years old. Staff are excellent and nothing was a problem. Amenities are new and very clean. Evening camp fire with nibbles provided was a lovely touch. We will definitely be returning.

Wasn’t sure what to expect as we had been told not to stay in Wilcannia but was pleasantly surprised. Was greeted by friendly staff on arrival & the grounds were kept very clean & tidy. It’s not 5 star by any means but they have the biggest showers I have ever seen at a caravan park & are very clean. Wilcannia is only small but it has a lot of lovely old buildings & a great little cafe across from the park. We stayed 2 nights & thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again

Nice quiet park with a genuine country feeling setting. The managers had set up a cheese and biscuit gathering so that all the campers could get together if they so wished. The park had very good amenities and has level sites where you can stay hitched up if you want. The only downside is that no satellite dish means no TV so no sports on weekends !!
