This is, in effect, a hotel restaurant. It serves authentic Franconian cuisine and does a very good job of cooking it. I had the liver dumpling soup, venison and ice cream or dessert. Everything was very tasty. We sat on the patio, which has a gorgeous view over the surrounding area. The service was friendly and highly competent. The restaurant is off the beaten track, but it certainly repays a detour.
