Caithness View Luxury Farm Lodges and BBQ Huts

Me and my mates were doing the north coast 500 and stayed here while passing. Its everything it says on the tin and cant wait to come back. Thank you to sharon kept in contact and provided a brilliant service. Ps BBQ hut wss a great adition.

Cute and comfortable cabins out in the middle of nowhere. Idyllic and peaceful. Spent the evening with the family on the patio watching the nearby sheep grazing and enjoying fresh air and peace and calm. The proprietors here are incredibly thoughtful and caring and truly went out of their way to make the stay as pleasant as possible.

Stayed for a couple of nights in these fantastic cabins with my wife and had a blast. Very comfortable with everything you need to cater for yourself. Out in the countryside, an excellent place to unwind and relax, your neighbours are some very friendly sheep, who become friendlier to those with some oatcakes! The beds are very comfy, and the cabin is very well laid out to use the space well. The most unique feature are the BBQ huts that make for a very nice way to feed yourself as the sun goes down and then toast some marshmallows as you enjoy the magnificent view

My hubby & I recently spent a couple of nights at the Caithness View Luxury Farm Lodges, and they are superb. We discovered a welcome pack on arrival with wine, snacks & biscuits, which was a lovely trip after a long drive. We stayed in The Swallows Lodge, there are 3 lodges in total, each sleeping 6 (I think). The layout is very compact but perfect for a short stay (double bed, pull out double sofa bed & separate room with 2 single beds. Hob, kettle, coffee machine & good sized bathroom). Each Lodge also has its own separate bbq hut, which is fully stocked with coal and ready for use. We bought some lovely seafood in Thurso and had a lovely dinner. The contact we had for Caithness View Luxury Lodges was a lady called Sharon, and she was fantastic and was quick to respond to any queries we had. The Lodges are located in a field within a working farm, but there is a separate drive are gravel areas to park vehicles. Due to the locality of the Lodges, they are extremely peaceful, situated at the top of a hill. The farm also has a field directly opposite the Lodges with very friendly sheep, so this would be great for kids - the sheep love plain oatcakes we discovered! Don't hesitate, book a Lodge now - they're great!
