Inn on the Lake - Whitehorse

Quiet place by the lake for a calm stay The place seemed bigger from the photos, there were very little services at the property. No room cleaning, which is not specified when booking. The location is beautiful over the lake, but after that there is not much to do or additional amenities at the property. Another set back is that the meals are fixed to set menu for all of them, which you have to prebook. I suggest they could have additional options, considering there is no place around to go for a lunch or snack in more than 1 hour drive around, and it is not always possible to adjust to just a fixed schedule, specially on vacations. Also, there is no alert of auroras viewing, which is the reason we are staying there, and you should rely on your own ability to wake up to try and see them. I would suggest a stay of 2 nights at maximum at this property.

Tranquil lakefront setting Gorgeous inn, breakfast and a 3-course dinner are available, along with a selection of wines and beer for purchase - tea and coffee are complimentary. There is a back deck that runs the length of the building along with a hot tub, pool table, bikes, and kayaks. The staff is friendly, welcoming and professional. We stayed both going to and coming back from Alaska. Highly recommend.

A lovely way to get away on your getaway. A lovely spot South of Whitehorse on the Alaska Highway, and a great place to stop without having to go into the city. Gourmet meals, a very friendly staff, and just a lovely setting!
