Historical Guest House

We really enjoyed our stay in the Cyr Suite. It's quite spacious with the convenience of a kitchen. The furnishings are a little dated but everything worked well. You can't beat the location! Highly recommend.

Owner is nice.

Rummen (2st) finns på andra våningen medan badrummen ligger på första, varför det kan störa om man behöver använda det på natten då det gamla huset har knarrande golv och trappa. Rummet har inget lås, endast en hake på insidan. Ytterdörren har lås men är beroende av att bägge rumsgästerna låser när de går ut. Noggrann sopsortering. Skön Ikea säng. Kyl och frys och alla möjligheter att laga egen mat.

Such a quaint please. It felt very private and relaxing.

We left after 5min because of cleanliness. We found a hair in the bed, and a pile of (dirty?) bedsheets bunched up on the floor in the closet. The property is in a state of disrepair with rotted boards, broken banisters and overgrown landscaping. We went to the owner's house next door when we arrived and the entrance was covered in cobwebs. The Stratford Motel is about the same price and it is better value. The owner seems nice enough however.

Horrible place to stay. I book a room at the front, and they switched me to a room at the back. They never asked if I wanted to change rooms. The owner just forces the change on me and never gave me a choice. It looks like a nice historical house from the outside, and it is located in a central area, which is great to be able to walk everywhere. Whitehorse is a small town, so everywhere is a short walk. A car is only needed to leave Whitehorse area. On the inside, everything is ancient and needs improvement. The owner was rude to me.
