Really enjoyed our time here. Our host, Kathy, was super helpful and very kind, in addition to running an excellent B & B. We would absolutely return to Glenfield House when we return to Whitehaven! Breakfast was delicious and prepared to order-I had the Full English breakfast and my wife requested some special treatment of her eggs and Kathy completely accommodated her request with a smile! Very special place!! Love it! Ample parking as well.

We had a wonderful experience at Glenfield. Kathy, our host, was very attentive and gave great travel advice. The breakfast spread was delicious and you can have a full English breakfast freshly prepared to order. Ample parking also. Our room was decorated beautifully and we had tea, coffee and biscuits/cookies in our room. Would definitely recommend!

From when we stepped into Glenfield House we were made to feel very welcome, with a cup of tea made for us to help us to settle in. Kathy went out of her way and nothing was too much trouble. The house is in excellent order and pristine throughout. Good choice of breakfast at a time to suit our schedule and could not be faulted. The two dogs also made you feel at home. I would definately recommend a stay at this bed and breakfast.

Excellent B&B . Lovely , clean and very spacious room . Cathy is really nice and really accommodating. She has two little dogs that are really well behaved , but if you don't like dogs then it's a no . Would definitely stay again .

We stayed with Kathy for 3 nights in August bank holiday . Kathy has 3 friendly dogs so this b and b is for dog lovers like us. We really enjoyed our stay , the rooms are spacious and immaculately clean with excellent facilities and clean towels every day. Kathy had great continental options for breakfast and served up a full English on request. We felt very welcome and nothing was too much trouble . We will definitely stay at this b and b again and thoroughly recommend it.

Glenfield House is well presented, comfortable and a relaxing place to stay. The owner, Kathy, is very welcoming. Breakfast is delicious, including the best poached eggs I’ve had in a long time. Parking is convenient, just across the road. For anyone wanting to make use of more sustainable transport the local rail station (Corkickle) is a short distance away and buses serve stops immediately adjacent to the establishment. I recommend Glenfield House for a quiet break, or as a base to explore the local area.

A fabulous little boutique B&B. Cathy is so lovely warm and welcoming as a host nothing is too much trouble. Thanks to her for looking after us during our stay. I have to say Cathy russles up a brilliant full English breakfast too. The trio of dogs are lovely and friendly making the place feel like a home from home. Thanks Cathy we will certainly recommend and stay again when we revisit whitehaven.

Lovely B&B with excellent host and three gorgeous pups to welcome you. It is the first time I have slept properly in a hotel on my own! Very clean, comfortable and welcoming. An excellent find - I will be back!

A lovely place to stay to access the beautiful countryside. We really enjoyed staying with Cathy and her 3 dogs. Fresh hot breakfast made to order every morning, a comfy bed and some good local recommendations - what more could you want? Thank you for having us.
