Pinewood House

We stayed at the Pinewood guest house recently, and what a lovely stay we had. Tim and Josie are the perfect hosts and we we're met with a warm and friendly greeting. Our room was a good size, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean, as was the rest of the guesthouse. Very comfy and cosy and perfect for unwinding after taking in the sights of Whitby. The breakfast was delicious, with a good choice of cereals and fruit, followed by a tasty full English cooked to perfection, leaving us full and ready for the day ahead. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast and would definitely book here again. The Pinewood is in an ideal location, only a short walk from all main attractions and sights, Plenty parking available close by and spot on for a long weekend break. Perfect little gem.

Beautifully presented and immaculately clean guest We stayed in this beautifully presented, immaculately clean guest house for two nights. Size wise, our room was much as expected from a guest house, it was very well equipped (including a fridge) and had a nice walk in en-suite shower. An extremely generous traditional cooked breakfast was provided in the base dining room (there was a choice of standard fried, with all the trimmings, or scrambled or poached eggs plus additional items such as kippers if ordered in advance). There are steps both outside and inside so I can’t recommend it for those with mobility issues. Parking is on-street, but you are provided with free pass. There was plenty of availability when we visited (but get a pass as soon as you arrive). The town centre and harbour are just a short walk away. We would be more than happy to stay here again.

Lovely B&B Lovely B&B. The owners were very friendly, and very helpful. Very considerate of people's needs. Rooms were lovely, clean, well maintained. Beds were a little too firm for me but that's personal preference so not really a criticism! It was very nice, food was great, and it was a very pleasant stay.
