Blackcomb Lodge

Blackcomb Lodge is a winter wonder den! Nestled near the slopes, it's all about ski, sleep, repeat. The vibe is cozy chic, and the hot cocoa is on point. Perfect crash pad for snow junkies!

The management here was fantastic, very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is within walking distance of the lifts, and of stores, restaurants, pharmacies, etc. The room we had was fairly quiet even though we were on the middle of a party town on a holiday weekend. The only complaint we have is about the front desk staff. We requested hand towels be brought to our room, but the person at the desk at the time seemed to only pretend to care. Unsurprisingly, we never were brought towels and when we came back late, we just made due with what we had. I'm certain the managers would have done it themselves if they'd been at the desk at the time.

Exceptionally rude and aggressive supervisor. I had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting the supervisor at the parking lot when trying to find parking at the whistler village as a tourist. Beware of this place, he hates Americans apparently? I was at an empty parking stall for less than 2 minutes checking rates of this garage and the neighbouring ones and the "supervisor" knocked on my window twice within 1 minute telling me that this place was the cheapest lot there is and if I don't move, I would be towed in 5 minutes so I can "fxxx" off and find another place and walk 20 minutes back. On his second knock on my window, I told him I am moving and I closed the window on him and he tried to open my car door calling me a stupid American. Thankfully our car was locked. We later found out he was the supervisor after trying to talk to the front desk. In the lobby, he told me l'm American and shouted at me to "fxxx off". Terrible hospitality and crazy aggressive supervisor. Unheard of.
