Sleep Inn & Suites Conference Center

Our daughter had her wedding ceremony and reception here July 2023. The rooms were clean and comfortable for us and our out of town family and friends. Everything was at Sleep Inn & Suites Conference Center from lodging to the wedding and reception, one location, which is what we desired, and the event went off without a hitch. Special shout out to Lilly and Russell for helping coordinate everything, you both did a wonderful job! The entire staff was very flexible and diligent in making this a very positive experience for our family and friends. Thanks!

This hotel was not bad. It was comfortable and the staff was friendly. If you are traveling with a pet, specifically a dog, there really isn’t anywhere for them to do their business. They are pet friendly, and that’s good, but just be aware if you have to walk them. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. They also serve breakfast, and have a pool and gym if that is what you need. Decent stay.

Stayed at Sleep Inn and suites over the weekend. Friendly front staff and quick check-in. Room was on the 2nd floor next to stairwell, which concerned me, but didn't hear any outside noise. Room was very nice, large and clean. Bed was very comfortable and a good night sleep. Breakfast was very good. Waffles, eggs, sausage, toast, rolls, yogurt...enough to eat. Didn't use pool or hot tub, but looked very inviting. Would stay here again!

Clean, comfortable rooms with friendly staff and a nice sports bar attached to the hotel with good beer and cocktails. The hotel room was quiet and just what we needed after a long day of driving. For $90 a night, it was a great stay.

So I wanted to like this place since a farmer co-op built this "travel center" (ie. truck stop). I think this was built about 6 years ago, but it's already desperately in need of an update. Carpet stained at spots in the hallway and room, smoke smell in the air, towels worn and thin, etc. The location is pretty remote. The breakfast was inedible. Malt o meal knockoffs of Kelloggs and Post cereals....fresh fruit option were mealy apples. With that said, the place was clean though old. 2.5 stars

We stayed 2 days. The first evening, the wifi worked. The next day, we had to walk down the hall to get closer to the lobby to connnect, but would lose the signal when we went back to our room. The young girl at the front desk had no clue how to address our query. "Oh, it's like that sometimes. Wait awhile then try again." We did. Nothing the entire 2nd day. Otherwise, the room was clean and comfortable.

My wife and I stayed here twice, three weeks apart. We booked the king suite with whirlpool on both occasions. However, two totally opposite experiences. Our first stay was incredible and relaxing - room #123. Everything worked as expected and the whirlpool was awesome. Our subsequent stay was very unexpected and disappointing. After a long drive, we were looking forward to relax and enjoy our room - #125. We did not have any Kleenex in the bathroom - went to front desk to get a replacement box. Also, the bathroom sink was not draining correctly. Later in the evening we were filling up the whirlpool and found the drain was not sealing correctly and we could not stop the water from draining. Then realized there was no hot water supply - only tepid water! Another trip to the front desk. An apology and no maintenance person on site. No replacement room near ours. She was pleasant and offered to reduce our rate by $30. We woke up in the morning with no electrical power to our room - only bathroom light, ceiling pot light, and room heating unit were working. No lamps, fridge, microwave or television! Another trip to the front desk. The attendant very quickly located the electrical panel in the hallway and attempted to reset, to no avail. No maintenance person on site. We checked out later in the morning with no resolve. We were astonished and disappointed with all the issues we encountered on our second stay. While the reduction in our rate was appreciated, it does nothing to replace our expected experience. A learning experience for sure. Two rooms, side by side. Contacted the hotel manager by e-mail. I also reached out to Choice Hotels - customer support. Amazing response, apology, and credit of points to our rewards account. Much appreciated! Update: The hotel manager replied eleven days later with a sincere apology, a plan to address staff responses to guest issues, and a full refund for the price of the room. Would probably stay here again. Good location. Gas, restaurant, and bar all under one roof - connected to this hotel.
