Bugler Doyles Bar & Townhouse

Early Friday evening 3rd of May we visited this Pub along South Main Street. There was outdoor seating on the pavement in front of the Bar, however, we chose to sit indoors We walked into the main bar where it was rather dark inside with minimal light from the nets of small twinkling lights, hanging from the ceiling. There was other ceiling lights but were dimly lit. The dark wooden bar and well stocked shelves behind the bar added to the dark feel to the place. The brightest feature was the vast number of illuminated fonts along the bar. We found a table to sit at, then ordered our drinks at the bar. Near where we were seated was an interesting ceiling that caught our eyes. As well as stools along the bar, there were a number of booths with seating and other seating around the pub. There were a number of wall mounted televisions around the walls showing sporting events. Sports and pub related memorabilia hung from the walls. At the time of our visit horse racing was being screened, felt like we were in a betting shop. We only had the one drink here.

Had a 2 night stay absolutely loved it great location very friendly in the bar ! Room was very clean ! Thank you I was in room 21 it was lovely! Right beside a lovely chipper ! Couldn't have asked for more ... Will be back very soon we can't wait for it !

The room was very shabby. The carpet was dirty. The bathroom was dated and very shabby. The shower had “tape” around it. It had a flat screen television as advertised but tv3 was about the only station working. Had to ask to have heat turned on. The room was freezing when I went in. The plugs were hanging from the wall behind the bed. And the dust and uncleanliness was disgusting. And let me say it didn’t come cheap. Definitely won’t be going back

Great Pub in Wexford to visit later in the evening. Fantastic atmosphere full of Irish charm with good music to sing along to. The staff were friendly and efficient. Drink prices were reasonable. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside. Would definitely recommend a visit.

To start with a good location in the middle of Wexford and walking distance to Chadwicks Park which was the purpose of the trip. The accommodation is very basic bed and furniture, the tv remote needs a battery. Couldn't connect to the Wifi and rang a few numbers but no one answered. Rooms was noisy being over a pub but that was to be expected. No breakfast included so got up early Sunday morning and headed home. Bar was good , staff were nice. The biggest complaint was being charged €170 for myself and my son for one night which i thought was outrageous even for a bank holiday , for what was on offer.

We booked so last minute , communication was perfect , our room was so big so clean , perfect for us 😀 went to the bar super friendly locals treated us so well loved it. PJ the bar man went out of his way to make us feel welcome even hand delivered my phone when I left it in the bar , couldn't ask for better ....100% recommend Buglars :)
