Unfortunately I felt it necessary to write this review after a very disappointing visit to this hotel. After visiting here for night’s out and coffee on the decking area nothing has really improved. The decking area needs painting, the service was so slow for outside, tables not cleaned for over an hr. When we did get service they forgot cutlery and sugar. I did mention this at the bar and noticed there was staff just standing around doing nothing. Why advertise outside area open when clearly they have no interest in improving it. I would suggest upgrading the outside area and have music for some ambience which will definitely improve the hotel for the summer. Such a shame as it could be a great hotel.

The staff made this a 5 out of 5 experience for me. I visited with my son. He has a non verbal autism diagnosis and waiting is not his strong point. When I explained that we could not make breakfast because of this they went above and beyond to accommodate us. They called each morning to take a breakfast order and delivered it to the room. I really felt they cared about our stay. I would definitely come back here and would recommend highly to others

We have stayed at this little gem three times and intend to stay more. We found it on of of our regular ferry crossing between Rosslare and Bilbao and we were delighted with our find. The hotel is currently undergoing a makeover but despite this everything else was perfect . Positives - big warm bedroom, stacks of hot water, decent TV, comfortable bed and stacks of towels, Great bar, nice staff, good and choice of food. I would highly recommend the cooked breakfast which is absolutely amazing and served directly to your table . I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Lovely hotel. Lovely big room. Friendly staff. Great breakfast with plenty choice. Had a lovely evening meal there. They have live music on the Friday and Saturday pity we missed it as we left on the Friday. Lovely town easy acces to the beach from the hotel. Some parts of the hotel could do with refurbishment.

Had booked for a family birthday dinner. Waited over an hour for starters. Then only 7 starters arrived. When these had finished the rest of the starters arrived.. another hour and main course arrived only to be told that they didn't have enough of the roast of the day. 3 of the party changed the main course. 3 didn't receive there dinner until others had finished. One didn't receive any dinner at all. Was offered some mash potatoes ☹️.staff didn't even return to see if any of the group wanted dessert.. as this was part of the meal deal. Overall wouldn't recommend dining here.

The reception and restaurant areas were ok, staff were excellent and willing to help. The corridors and rooms however were very tired and in real need of refurbishment. The carpets were old and worn, and the bathroom was clean. The Bath had been coated with a white liner which was flaking and split and the shower rose and hose was encrusted with limescale. There was adequate hot water. The bed was comfortable and the sheets and pillows were clean. Overall, the cost of the one nights stay was not good value and overpriced at e129.

Had a lovely stay here at the Coast. The food was excellent and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back . Hotel is a little bit dated but they are doing renovations at the moment . The hotel is very close to the beach which is another plus .

Worn carpets and chairs, lift out of order, tired and out of date bathroom. These were the first impressions so not good. For what we paid it was OK, and they're decorating so it should quite good for the summer. It wouldn't take a lot to make this a gem.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past but I was disappointed with the standard of the hotel room Paintwork very scruffy, paint peeling off the bathroom door The floor covering on the bathroom floor is coming off the floor The seal on the shower screen needs to be replaced, leaking water I won’t be staying here again
