Right from the start, our stay never felt right. "Check-in instructions" required us to inform the property of our ETA, which we did. Although, we didn't receive any information (we reached out earlier with some questions and didn't get a response until we reached out directly on their website) for check-in procedures which was a little unsettling. Instead, we were unsure about manually opening the gate (some heads up would have been nice).
The place wasn't what we expected. And so many extra costs that were hidden: $20/day for A/C in kitchen, extra charge for housekeeping, extra charge for laundry. Things not included opposed to the add: TV, king bed was actually 2 beds side by side, no tub, ceiling fan broken in bedroom, and stove didn't work very well.
When we informed the owner of our issues, he responded in a defensive matter like a bully, asking us if, "we could read" and "that's Expedia's fault". His professionalism was poor and I didn't appreciate his condescending demeanor towards my wife.
There was maybe one other couple during our stay so the entire property was quite vacant. We thought we were offered to change rooms for the last couple of days to salvage our trip (lost in translation) but there was a charge required. At that point, the offer was tainted and felt out of spite, just to get a decent review. So, they doesn't actually care about their customers, just the review...
