We stopped in here for an overnight stay in the Cotswolds based on the location near to Burford and the TripAdvisor reviews. Our experience here was extremely positive - the pub is in a really quiet, picturesque location very close to the A424. The buildings are very attractive and very well maintained both inside and out and we found all of the staff that we met to be very friendly, welcoming and providing a great service. Our room felt modern, fresh and reasonably spacious with a very decent bathroom and we ate both breakfast and dinner here and the food and service was excellent. I'd happily recommend The Feathered Nest Inn if you are looking for this type of accommodation and I'd definitely visit again in the future.

Everything was amazing from the cookies in the room to the warm welcome from Gonzalez. We loved our stay here in this picturesque setting tucked away in the countryside. We told the wonderful lady at breakfast that we had to leave early the next morning and she asked the chef to pack us a breakfast to go - such kindness and hospitality. We will definitely be back!

Amazing hotel in a beautiful location. Staff very polite and helpful.
Our room was lovely and very comfortable.
Breakfast superb. Overall very impressed.
We would have given 5 stars overall if the restaurant and bar had been open on the night we stayed. Unfortunately we hadn't realised they were closed on a Sunday night although in fairness, a lovely member of staff was more than happy to let us have a drink from the bar.
Will certainly stay again and very happy to recommend.

Lovely pub and b&b
Mixed reviews about the food but we had dinner here and it was 10/10. Breakfast was great too. Lovely location. If I had to be picky the bathroom was a bit tired but other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

Firstly, the food was lovely. We had the tasting menu and it was delicious, wine choices great, and the place has a lovely cosy pub are for drinks first. Would very happily come back for dinner again, and views from the inn are beautiful. However the room was sadly very different - room in itself is fine and comfortable, but because it's an old building with no soundproofing (as expected for its age), and we were unlucky with the other guests, we were up until 3pm due to the room downstairs playing music loudly and their TV on full blast. Didn't even stop when we banged on their door and jumped on the floor! Because it's not a hotel, no idea of who to call in the night so no front desk to raise this with, and no signs in the room requesting consideration of other guests. So definitely don't stay here, but do go for a meal, as long as you go home afterwards!

A real treat of a place to go. You get what you pay for and the food was excellent. We had the Cote De Boeuf and it didn't survive for very long :) Great panoramic views from the windows too overlooking the Cotswolds. Staff were professional and helpful.
