Trinkle Mansion Bed & Breakfast

Beautiful accommodations that were exceptionally clean. The historical decor and background to the home is interesting to experience. The hosts are lovely and the breakfast in the morning was delicious...more food than I normally eat in the morning but I ate every morsel. It is a great deal.

I recently spent my second long weekend here in as many years, and I hope I get to stay again many times in the future. Everything is immaculate, breakfast is always excellent, and I really feel completely at home here. Patti & Bernie are warm, wonderful people, and they've gone out of their way to make their guests comfortable. I love the atmosphere here, I love that the mansion offers several cozy and beautiful spaces to wind down, and I love how close it is to all of Wytheville's great small-town offerings. I don't write a lot of reviews, but this place definitely deserves my strong endorsement! If you're considering staying here, just make the reservation already!

My friends & I stayed a few days at the beautiful Trinkle Mansion in Wytheville, VA. It was quite an experience. Completely Restored and gorgeous antiques fill the mansion. Four large guest bedrooms inside the mansion along with a cottage just to the back side. Rooms are equipped with all you need including a bath in each with large walk-in-showers (one BR also has a tub along with the shower). Breakfast is a real treat. The owners are so personable and the lady of the mansion is incredible tallented decorator and a splendid cook. It has a large front/side porch along with a sunroom inside. A number of sitting rooms throughout. I would rate it No. 1 of all the places I've stayed. And, there's lots of restaurants close by, a couple entertainment centers. We enjoyed the Wohlfahrt Haus Dinner Theatre, a very short distance from the B&B). There's another entertainment center right there on Main Street close to the B&B that has concerts. Many things to occupy your time after touring the beautiful mansion. All 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend. No doubt you will love as well. We will be back! Try it - you won't be disappointed. We took many pictures, but I have not downloaded yet. But, go online and look even though it is much more beautiful to see in person.

A return visit for us to this wonderful B&B! Very comfortable rooms, gracious and thoughtful hosts who do everything to make our stay special, and one of the best breakfasts we have ever had in any B&B. Lots to do in this small, charming town - check out the local rec center with several swimming pools (including a therapy pool), eat at one of the great restaurants - we like Log House and Graze on Main - or just sit in a porch swing and relax. We will definitely return! Highly recommend!

What a lovely historical property and so beautifully restored. Patti is a gracious hostess and is understandably very proud of her lovely home. The breakfast was exceptional - a yummy mini cinnamon stick on the first course was a real treat; would have loved more of those even though the breakfast was ample. The eggs benedict was delicious. The cottage was comfortably furnished with high quality linens and towels.

One of the best B&B experiences I've ever had! First, the home is gorgeous! So many places to sit and enjoy, both inside and out. The room was extremely comfortable. The service, outstanding. The inn keeper is the sweetest most gracious lady. The breakfasts were so delicious and the town of Wytheville is a hidden gem. I'd driven through before but never stopped. I swear, I'd like to live there! We went for our anniversary and we will definitely be back. We love this place! Another impressive note, of 3 couples that were seated with us at breakfast, all 3 were returning guests. That says something!
