Promised shuttle did not arrive at the airport to collect us. Our calls to the provided phone number were not answered, and we were unable to leave a message as the mailbox was full. After about an hour, we managed to rouse someone, who told us to grab a cab, and we would be reimbursed. We have not been reimbursed. The host slept in on the next morning, so we missed breakfast, and had to get another cab to the airport. They charged us the full amount of the stay. The house is nice enough, though the bathroom door didn’t lock, which wasn’t comfortable, as it was a shared bathroom. Contrary to what we thought. Despite several attempts to contact the owners, we have been unable to, so beware. We are out of pocket for two cab fares and breakfast. Lack of communication and poor service is the worst we have ever experienced.

Wanneer we aan het gehuurde huis toe kwamen ,hebben we met de ons toegestuurde codes de poort en nadien de voordeur kunnen openen.Het huis was volledig leeg ,er waren geen bedden of andere meubels / kasten aanwezig in de slaapkamers.Het huis stonk en lag vol troep.Het leek wel een horrorhuis uit een film.We dachten dat het huis misschien gekraakt was ,en zijn na vele uren tijdverlies dan maar terug vertrokken.We hebben vele telefoons en mails gestuurd naar 'Suite Smart West Vancouver Luxury Rentals' ,zonder enige reactie ,ook geen reactie van *******,via welke het huis gehuurd hadden ,via het internet in België. Dan maar op zoek in Vancouver naar een ander hotel waar nog plek was. 2 dagen later werd het huurbedrag van 620CAD wel van mijn visa gehaald! Pure oplichting... Na vele mails en telefoons naar ******* ,alleen een korte reactie gekregen dat ze ons probleem niet begrepen....,ondanks de mails met foto's van het huis en een fimpje van de vieze toestanden ,geen bedden ,geen beddegoed...enz ??? NOOIT BOEKEN VIA ******* ,EN ZEKER NIETS HUREN VIA Suite Smart West Vancouver Luxury Rentals,in Vancouver!!!

We booked Suite Smart Vancouver as the original location was advertised as 10 minutes from Vancouver Airport. We were never informed of location changes until Dwayne (the owner) was almost in West Vancouver, over 35 minutes away from Airport. We had arranged pick up from the Airport, with Dwayne arriving 45. Minutes late. No apology or explanation given. Our first stay was at a very nice house, but on our return 6 weeks later, were driven to a different location - and weren’t informed until we were almost there. This house was not as nice, and completely unsecured, as the front door lock was in the process of being replaced by Dwayne. The owners were fraudulent in the promised advertisement of the house, and didn’t seem to think they were in the wrong. The whole experience of our two stays was a complete disaster and can only be described as a circus. Not everyone should be a B and B host, especially when they are acting dishonestly and taking on too much which prevents them from operating a successful business. Our stays left us with a completely unpleasant experience leaving Canada.

Lovely B and B. Greeted by owner. We were slightly late arriving due to luggage collection, which was no problem. The room was clean, the bathroom a shared bathroom, but we were the only ones using it. The house is beautiful, and had a short walk around the grounds before breakfast. Online check in before we arrived, breakfast was served on time and was very welcome and tasty.

If you’re after an extra bit of luxury to what seams to be a B&B, then this is worth the visit. Location in West Vancouver is so peaceful and although it’s a bit of a walk to the local restaurants, I’d be happy to stay hear again.
