Red Roof Inn West Memphis, AR

To be fair I knew it wasn’t going to be the best stay but I had to stop and get some sleep. It’s not in the best area

Let’s be honest, most people only leave reviews if they have a bad experience. Red Roof is a great functional hotel for the price and location. The staff ensures that they are able to provide a comfortable experience with care. If you’re nice to them they are to you - a golden rule. Management wants to help and ensure you have a good experience as much as they can.

We were pleased with our stay at this Red Roof Inn. We usually stay at Red Roof Inns because we travel with our dog, and they are very dog friendly. Even though our dog wasn’t with us on this trip from West Virginia back to Dallas, we wanted to give it a try. The location was good, and the room was fine. It isn’t fancy, but it isn’t expensive. It was clean and had everything we needed for a one night’s rest on our way home.

I’m not looking for much from a Red Roof Inn except for somewhere to sleep that is clean. We booked this location solely for one night to break up a road trip. It was a basic place to stay (expected from Red Roof Inn) but it was clean and we got what we paid for: • Location – just off the freeway, with lots of places to eat in the area • Room has a microwave and fridge. • Inexpensive for 1 night’s stay I don't have much more to add except if I needed a place to stay in this area again, I'd be OK with staying at this Red Roof location.

We came to this hotel as a group for work. This is not the first time we have stayed here. We were also in this hotel two weeks ago, also for work. When we go to a hotel, we go in a group of about 30 people. Certain people in our group, for more than one reason, have requested downstairs rooms. For this reason, we sent a rooming list. The man at the front desk paid no attention to the rooming list. This was problem number one. Two weeks ago when we were at this hotel there was no Wi-Fi. We were told because somebody had taken it home. This to me just sounds a little sketchy. Now that we are here again, there is still no wi-fi. Which is problem #2. Not long after we got to the hotel, the entire hotel lost power. No one from the front desk made any attempt to contact anyone in any of the rooms. That is my problem #3. After about 40 minutes the power returned and still there was no contact from the front desk. The hotel room is filled with mosquitoes. 30 minutes after I finished my shower I have killed 10 mosquitoes in my room. This is problem #4. I am only at this hotel because my company pays for it. We do not like it here, and would prefer not to come back. My suggestion is if you're looking for a nice place to stay, don't stay here.

Finding a smoking room is getting harder and harder to find. I have found that most smoking hotels are getting very nasty regarding the cleanliness of the bathrooms, baseboards and lamps. So bad that I have started traveling with sanitizer wipes. This room was much cleaner than most I have stayed at in the past three years. The location was very quite and slept comfortably. Would stay here again.

The motel is very well situated for a stay in Memphis being only a ten minute drive into town. There is a Mexican restaurant very close by. The rooms are immaculately clean and well furnished plus there is everything you require ie hairdryer, coffee maker, iron etc. The staff are very pleasant and I would gladly recommend a stay here

The remodel looks nice, my only problem with the very comfortable bed was that there is a metal bed frame under the mattress, so every time I rolled over in the middle of the night it would sound like I was rolling around in a metal 55 gallon drum. Also couldn’t get in the lobby in the morning for coffee or toilet paper or any sort of human contact. The sign said to use the night window which no one came too of course.
