No.64 at the Joiners

Lovely and comfortable rooms. Lovely welcome with nothing too much to ask of the staff there. Used the bar which had an excellent pub atmosphere and a great selection of drinks. Great stay and couldn’t fault No64, would definitely stay again.

Had a great stay at number 64, friendly staff, great rooms. Was visiting friends, this hotel is in the middle of West Malling, perfect location and the landlord super friendly. Would definitely recommend, we stayed in Evangeline, nicely decorated throughout, lovely bathrooms.

I stayed here the Friday before Christmas in room Evangeline. The room was absolutely lovely with a free standing bath and en suite, it was very clean and the bed was really comfy. I had Christmas drinks downstairs in the pub with friends as there was a dj playing. The staff were all really friendly and the pub was decorated lovely with Xmas decs, it was a great atmosphere. Fab location too!

Very disappointing Although we actually only wanted a bed for the night, I had hoped it would be in a room that had heating! It was absolutely freezing, the curtain’s didn’t close properly, and even the cushions in the bed were shabby and torn. The mattress was also really uncomfortable. When we arrived we were shown to our room, and shown how to enter the building should we return after they were closed. We were not told there was a code to get in, although we have since found out this was in the manual. We were also reassured that should there be a problem there is someone on site who would help us. When we arrived back, after they had closed, we initially could not get in. Clearly we should have had a code! We tried calling, and although we could hear the phone no one answered. Eventually my husband managed to pull open the door, which obviously wasn’t locked, but had swollen in the bad weather, which then made us question the security! We then went to our freezing cold room, and left first thing. It was so uninviting that we didn’t even use the shower, just went home, grateful to be out of there. On a plus, the location is very good.

Stayed here day after Boxing Day with my partner and really enjoyed my experience with this boutique hotel. Staff were friendly and got me checked in with no hassle even though I had made a mistake on the booking name. Rooms were furnished to a high standard and beds super comfy! Would definitely return if I was in the area again, thank you.

Lovely business trip. Nice comfy stay in a great location. Very attentive staff. Will defo be returning next trip down south with work. Room was spacious clean and tidy and loved having a few beers in the cosy pub down stairs. Was welcomed by all the regulars.
