The Dragonfly Inn

Everything about our stay was easy from check in to check out, it was seamless. Our room was warm and cosy for our late arrival, the bed was comfy and pillows perfect. Sarah and her team have a well organised system for breakfast, it was well thought out and easy to follow. We loved our stay, and will be back!

Our room was fantastic, with lots of space, great room facilities and terrific decor. We thorougly enjoyed our breakfast in the shared dining room, with our own allocated meal items. The history of the house and its period furnishings added to the experience.

Well equipped Airbnb. Most needs so well met. appreciated cheese and crackers and local brew (complimentary) in my minbar and a self serve brekky, comfy bed and excellent communication with the staff pre check in. The rooms are starting to tire. My curtains were tatty, fancy cushions a bit sad, bathroom cabinetry speaking their age, chandelier looking less than glamorous. I would stay here again but it was missing the classiness I had hoped for beyond the dining room. The make your own breakfast is a quirky idea but it’s messy and time consuming to cook eggs and toast in an unfamiliar shared space. Perhaps as I was on business I was needing a bit more - if in holidays and a bit more time - this might have been a 10. The staff and communications were exceptional.
