Premier Inn Nottingham South

Had a fantastic stay at Premier Inn Nottingham South! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality truly made the experience even more enjoyable. The breakfast was another highlight freshly cooked, delicious, and with plenty of options to start the day right. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable, making it a great place to stay. Highly recommend!

The staff were so welcoming, helpful and friendly. On the first day Angelika explained that the breakfast is cooked to order ( I rarely have a cooked breakfast as I don’t like food that’s been cooked and left on a hot tray) However the food was cooked by chef Nev exactly as I’d requested and it was hot and delicious! At breakfast the second morning there were different staff in the dining room and Angelika was manning the front desk. The one member of staff in the dining room and chef had a large party of schoolchildren and teachers ( all having cooked breakfasts) along with about 8 other guests to cater for. This is where the team showed how calm and efficient they were. Angelika sprung into action clearing plates, wiping tables and replenishing cutlery holders with quiet efficiency. No banging about or getting stressed . I was very impressed with the team and how they helped and interacted with each other. One member of staff told me she was a recent employee and how much she was loving her job, which is lovely to hear. We will definitely stay here again when we go to Nottingham to see family.

Stayed last year with several family member and friends. Had several rooms and I somehow paid more then they did even though we booked same dates. I emailed the Hotel wouldn’t accommodate Bed was comfortable but the bathroom was awful. The shower tub comb was so dangerous. My husband slipped one day getting out. Was then concerned for my elderly dad staying in room across the hall Room didn’t have anywhere to put a weeks work of clothes. No dresser and only a few coat hangers. Lived out of our suitcases all week. No microwave or fridge. Breakfast was ok not worth the money honestly. Probably won’t stay again. Only plus was Nottingham Knight next door.

The bed was so comfortable. Good night's sleep. The shower ran hot and cold. Couldn't use it. The breakfast was dreadful..poor quality especially eggs. Cheap ingredients. No orange juice. Black pudding liquid. The usual chef was on holday. Only plain no fat yoghurt so no choice. The room was lovely but our stay was spoilt by the awful breakfast.

Being as it was December when we visited, we did not expect the window to be wide open upon arrival. We had visited the Cemetery and was looking forward to a nice warm room. Instead we were faced with a freezing cold room , and the temperature thermostat did not work. Having spoken to reception, they DID NOT. send anyone to look at it. Warmest place in the room was theshower. Not worth £91 for 1 night.

When I go away on business I always try to stay with Premier Inn. Is because you know what you're going to get with in a slight range of parameters this staff are on the whole very conscientious knowledgeable and want to help. Almost everybody has a sense of humour which is a great thing for me. I stayed at Premier Inn Nottingham S as part of a business trip for a local establishment within the prison service with the hotels location being not too far from where I was it made perfect sense for me to stay there the night. Unfortunately this hotel does not serve an evening meal however there is a pub next door which was fine for me however I do prefer to eat at the Premier Inn where I am staying. The breakfast was excellent as ever and it was all freshly cooked and well presented. I had a pretty good night's sleep and will definitely choose this location again when I am up in the East Midlands.
